We’re looking forward to cruising with MSC Magnifica in 62 days (December 2023). The island looks like it is going to be lots of fun, for adults and kids alike! We’re celebrating our granddaughter’s 16th birthday on this cruise! 🎂🎉

It was fantastic! It will be a very memorable trip for our family, especially for my granddaughter who turned 16 on the cruise. So much food…and fun! Thank you for asking!

I heard about them closing the island down early next year to do some updates.I was thinking how cool would it be if they installed a handful of glamping spots/tent spots that if you pay for it on those overnight port stays you can spend the night out under the stars of a private island. I'd pay extra for that.

I'm super pale, and well the sun is NOT my friend. Hearing that there is limited shade on the island we opted for a cabana (we are also YC), so I'm looking forward to a very chill beach day.

Is it worth purchasing a snorkeling excursion or is the snorkeling on the island just as good?

Hi! I am goong next week and the weather forecast says 90% chance of rain :( What do you recommend?

In what order do you rate Ocean Cay, Coco Cay, Amber Cove, & Castaway Cay?

If my choices are an oceanview (not beachfront) cabana in the Yacht Club area or a cabana in the main area where the beach isn't as rocky, which would you recommend?

Can you just walk off the ship at any time in the morning or do you have to wait until after the Yacht Club and the other levels after get off first?

You can get off as soon as they announce it.

You CAN take shells from beaches in the bahamas. That is, if you're returning to the USA. Im not sure about other countries. The only requirement is that you wash the shells.

Anybody sailing Oct 26-29. I'm a SBM traveling on my first commercial cruise for my post-birthday present to myself. Hopefully there is a possibility I will meet a friendly SF to enjoy sometime and activities with while on board/off the ship. See ya onboard.😊

Unfortunately I’m sailing the week after,but I’m looking forward to meeting new people,im from the uk & on my 1st cruise in 2018 met a Lovely American couple who we are still in touch with,we video chat most weekends & even went to America to stay with them last year…so i hope you meet someone who you become great friends with 😊

What about renting a cabana or an umbrella???

Don’t go in July! Hot and humid. Not a fan of any of the corporate islands. The scheduled upgrade will hopefully cure a lot of issues. We did the yacht club section, bring water shoes. Also I can’t recommend the high priced cabana. The furniture needs replacement. The butlers and waiters are great but way over worked

Is the food trucks local food or American food

I have been there 9 times and there are parts of the island you can’t go to and there is not that much to do I go the yacht club beach and there are to many rocks in the water so bring some water shoes

Perfect place to build a snorkel reef like the City of Hollywood Florida just built.

They will deliver it to your cabin with the Daily Program ( the night before)

Cash for tips? This is a cruise you don't tip cash until the end if you want to at all. Tips are included in your by a daily charge.

Wrong, it is Spanish/Taino word. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cay

Cay is pronounced like key. So you would say "Ocean Key" Island, not Ocean K.

Just came off MSC Seascape. Will NEVER cruise again with them. Dinners were nasty except for two nights and after that I thought the Chef jumped overboard. Staff were rude in buffet area. No little cafe to get a snack at night. You must go to the buffet where they served pizza EVERY night. If you never cruise with any other lines you won't be able to compare but I will never travel with them again.

@bunny i am giving msc my last chance too....they have literally just the buffet and main dining room ...thats it ...mornings in the buffet is like herd and herds...and its fucking nuts...Royal is far better
