That's a fantastic connection! It's always exciting to see musicians paying homage to their fellow artists and creating those subtle nods and connections through their fashion choices. You'll find they're using pretty much the same mix that they send out to the audience (with the addition of audience facing mics) and because bass carries further, the FOH mixing engineer won't mix as much bass into the music because it's coming through the main speakers at a decent volume.

probably set up for pop music and signers rather than actual bands that play instruments live. its a big assumption but the speaker set up has similar design to the Muse concert in Glasgow last friday i was at, being in the crowd you heard it, was great audio. so the crowd most likely enjoyed it, but how that converts into a video to be streamed i dont know if the need to adapt anything. the Foo Fighter videos sounded loud, not sure why this one sounds different.
its amazing how confident they come across. 2 people in front of 80,000 like its what they were born to do. Definite tip of the hat to Page and Bonham in their sound
Such a groove, bread and butter. Love how when rock bands get skinny it just amplifies the rhythm and groove. White stripes. Less is more, or mess is lore

Along with Viagra boys and QOTSA, the highlight of glasto this year. Can see why they are touring with Muse, the bassist is basically Chris Wolstenholme on crack (not slagging Chris, he is a phenomenal bassist and innovative with riffs and tones, but Kerr took that and really ran with it).
I called this track from the start, I even told Mike in Manchester (thirsty scholars pub) that figure it out was the true banger. He might be southern but at least he listened to the wisdom (eventually).
