Royal Arch - More Light: The Necessity of the Royal Arch to the Master Mason

A short presentation by William F. Kuhn first presented in 1921.
Many thanks to RW Bro. Leitch for giving me a copy. The lecture comes in several sections. This is the first and lengthiest of them. The final section "What of the hour?" will make a nice short video in the coming days.

Thank you for these videos. They are helpful when sparking masonic conversations and providing masonic education. I often include them in my weekly email to our district, hopefully helping your view count increase as well.

When you are raised to the third degree, someone will tell you about the Royal Arch and urge you to consider being exalted as the completion of the third degree.

I made the mistake of joining Rose Croix before Royal Arch. I only get initiated into RC next year and I can still join RA in the meantime, but I feel like that would be doing everything all at once. C'est la vie.

Just found this channel, and am really enjoying the content. I am currently in the Grand Line for the state of NJ, and am always looking for new information to be able to expound to the Companions. In this video, you state that there was a degree before the formation of the three degrees as we know it today, where the Master's Word was given, prior to Masonry having a Substitute Word. Can you help me in finding that information, so that I can use it in my travels to different Chapters, Councils and Lodges? It would truly appreciate it.

Good morning Companion This is quite an old video, so I just had a look back and found that I sourced it from a short paper from the 1920s that was given to me by one of my Masonic mentors. If I can find an electronic version I'll post it on the fromthequarries website so you can access a copy. I can remember having the same questions as you when I prepared the presentation, but unfortunately haven't followed-up.

Yeah well all the secrets come from music. We're perfect 5ths but these guys lie and keep the secrets all to themselves and make you perfect 4ths aka the square man and then you wonder why rich people go square dancing or 2 stepping. The blue lodge is now red. And the dead are starting to come back to life.
