I’m a huge Jones fan like many but he’s a perfect example of how fans treat you differently at your prime to your retirement days, before he was sparked a few times, fans hated him, he couldn’t sell arenas, if you don’t believe me there is actually a documentary still on here filmed just after he was robbed to Griffin ;-)
The 5 v 5 is great for boxing, and it should become more of a thing. Imagine Top Rank vs PBC, or Top Rank vs Golden boy or Golden Boy vs PBC. Most likely, it will never happen because.. well how did Eddie put it.. they are not willing to gamble.. more specifically PBC. They keep everything in house.. greedy boring fuckers.. Top Rank would be more up for doing a 5 v 5 and maybe Golden Boy.
