Comparing Canelo to Beterbiev is a dangerous mistake. The man used to drop Usyk with body shots in amatures. If Bivol pulls guard on the rope, like he did with Canelo, he's going to lick the canvas. Beterbiev is a different animal.

The clear difference here it that Joe and Callum Smith willingly allowed Beterbiev inside for for exchanges in multiple instances; were also levels below Bivol in footwork and defensive boxing and didn’t have elite lead hands like Bivol does.

One think with biterbiev is that you can run from him in first, second or third round but not all 12 rounds. Bivols Chin won't work with Biterbiev.

There's more than meets the eye. Muhammad Ali won against Foreman, lost against Frazier, but Foreman knocked Frazier cold. "Styles make fights" as D'amato once said. Bivol has never fought anyone w Beterbiev's power, but Beterbiev never fought someone as sharp, precise and smart as Bivol. To me this is 100% 50/50.

Beterbiev doesn’t have much chance of winning if he only gets one or two clean hits to connect. He’s not Tank Davis. You’re underestimating Bivol’s chin. I’m pretty sure the fight will look a lot like Bivol vs Canelo. Beterbiev will be outboxed and just won’t be able to acumulate sufficient damage to get a stoppage

Greatest puncher at 175? Seems like somebody forgot that Archie Moore was also a 175er for the majority of his career. He may not have had the KO percentage of Beterbiev, but 132KO‘s in his 186W‘s is an impressive and unbeaten KO record that stands to this day.

I think Roy is a bit intimidated by Beterbiev because people were legit asking him who would win if they both fought in their primes. And imo Beterbiev would have the best chance against a prime Roy out of all the 175ers in history. Beterbiev isn’t just a puncher, dude can box.

It is a very hard fight to call to be honest. Bivol's distance management will be very key. Bivol can hit going back with speed and consistency. But Beterbiev has killer punches.

Bivols been rocked before and he fought canelo in the safest manner possible for his sake. I believe It’s more even with Arthur because he’s not smaller man with power this time. He’s not like the other guys Bivol has fought. Arthur has wins over heavyweights. Pretty sure Arthur has fought usyk a few times at heavyweight in the amateurs, he only won 1 time against him I believe. Both loses to usyk were in the quarterfinals but he did drop him.
