I enjoy several of your videos, but this is my favorite! Between the misty scenery and the choppy water (and with Wardruna on my headphones), I can imagine that I'm not a housewife erging in my New England basement, but a shield maiden rowing toward a battle beside Ragnar and Lagertha! :D Thank you for the great videos; they have really helped me get - and stay - in shape, even during a long Vermont winter. You do good work.

Woah, battle rowing. Different kind of immersion idea! Hail Floki for building us such a sturdy craft to cross these waters, although I don't think he could be our coxswain without everyone cracking up. Needs to be somebody super scary instead, the kind that yells, "PULL THIS NEXT POWER TEN FOR NJÖRD, OR THE JÖRMUNGANDR WILL RISE UP AND DRAG US ALL INTO THE DEPTHS! POWERRRRR TENNNN!"

I just need a monster chasing me through that fog to take my rowing to the next level.

Literally the only reason I need is for these moments. Calm waters and a low lying mist to keep you company before the circus opens for business lol jokes

Is it possible to record the front end instead of the back end in these videos? I’d like to use them in a virtual rowing workout, but the direction is very distracting/confusing.

These are specifically filmed from the stern to be as immersive as possible - because that is the direction you'd actually face in a boat. Welcome, and give it some time- I'll bet you get used to watching the shoreline recede just like it really does on the water!
