Rowing Every Day For 30 Days. Results. At Least 20min A Day.
I challenged myself to rowing at least 20 minutes a day for 30 days, and here are my thoughts and results. After rowing at least 20mins a day for a week and feeling fantastic i knew i needed to push myself further and harder, so a month was perfect. I'm shocked at my results and glad i pushed myself to try more.

8lbs in a month is a healthy drop. People want a 15-20 lb drop that isn’t a healthy drop. Having it gradually come off and stay off is better than dropping a lot, getting burnt out and putting it back on. Congratulations keep up the great work!!

Totally agree. This is a great pace along with practically a 100lb weight loss in a year

If you do that will be easy if your over weight, u retain more water the heavier you are. So if you exercise for 30 days straight your going to burn fat and loose water weight. Then the heavier you are the more calories you will burn. Now if you almost in shape of some pounds over then just a little over 2 pounds of week is normal especially when your leaning out. Because loosing weight and becoming lean is two different things.

Whatever your body drop is a healthy drop🎉😂🎉😂🎉😂
9 months later and your still inspiring people with this video! I think you're incredible - inner strength gets you so much further in life than anything else, and that's what you proved to yourself - that you have incredible inner strength and self-discipline. I hope you are still proud of yourself for what you accomplished in these 30 days.
8 pounds in a month is amazing! You wouldn’t want to lose more than 2 pounds a week, otherwise it may be bad for your health. Those 8 pounds are pure fat, you should be proud of yourself!❤️
You seriously motivated me. I have been back in the gym about a month now and I can’t stop going because it’s like you said, dedicating that time to yourself and it’s not only physical but also mental.
You did great! 8lbs is amazing 👏. Keep it up. It's a journey and you're making great strides towards your ovearrall health.

Right. Losing 8 pounds is great. I'm about to start this same journey myself as I await my rower to be delivered next week. So seeing your story and with being about the same weight as you started (I'm 231) is definitely inspirational for me. So thanks for sharing.

Results vary with us on our weight loss journeys. Hopefully I can achieve the sucess you did the first month! I have a rowing machine and become discouraged too soon. You motivated me to get back on track. Thanks for your inspiring video! 😉

I came across your video because I just started rowing three weeks ago and I love it! You lost a lot of inches!!! And your back is defined. Your stomach looks amazing. I joined RowHouse and go three times a week but didn’t take any pictures 😢 but you look amazing!!!!

Great job, you are an inspiration!!
I'm looking into getting a rowing machine soon! Everyone's before and after pics not only showcases weight loss, but an improvement in posture as well!
New subscriber you have me motivated! I have a row but don’t use it. It’s a full body workout and we can definitely see the difference😊
Oh wow, that's a huge difference in just a month. I started using the rowing machine as well and this thing wears me out quick.
Hi Ariel, I just found your channel. I did something similar. I got on the rowing machine and put up over 1 million meters over the winter. I did lose some weight but I am still obese. I did move some stuff around by creating some muscle. Importantly I feel much better. I was living a slow death in my sedentary job. What I did find was that rowing gave me more mobility in my lower body.
You are an inspiration! Thank you 🙏
You are sooooo Inspiring! I'm going to do this as well. 30 days or rowing. I can do it.

Good morning!! I need this😍

Yes exactly! Thank you!
You're doing great! I want to do this.
I can see your body change in the second week that's amazing lots of people don't use the rowing machine but they don't know how powerful it is. it works the whole body makes u lean and if u have a good diet deficit you can sure to loose fat. man I have so many giggly arms and it's slow but I see a different in so much short time. I do 30 a day I do it fast for 20 sec slowdown and keep repeating it. maybe I add one or 2 stroikes u gave me some encouragement but you look good keep it up
Great job, 8 pounds is great! As someone stated, it's about the journey not the destination. When you start to like your active disciplined self so much that you make it the norm, then one day you look in the mirror and realize you did it.
when I lost my weight, I fell in love with rowing and in combo with some strength training. I believe rowing is the absolute best workout for me, its fun, challenging, entertaining and just fun, especially when you finish!😅

Good Job!
I would be so grateful for 8lbs in one month. Can’t wait to try this!
YOU DID IT!! Girl, I SEE the difference and I'm INSPIRED!! You don't understand. You lost weight and gained MUSCLE. Muscle is HEAVIER , smaller and tighter than fat. I see the difference already!! You don't have to sprint to get results! Listen to podcasts or music instead. Gentle cardio for 20 minutes, a few days a week is Powerful. So listen to podcast or music insead. And keep taking monthly photos instead of the scale! THANK you for sharing!! I'm SO excited to get a rowing machine!!
That’s awesome
Wow!! 8lb!! Amazing results for just 30 days!!! 🤩🤩

8lbs it’s amazing! It depends on your diet too. It’s a process
Be very proud of yourself. Thank you for your hard work and dedication, making videos that are real and relatable and very inspiring. I'm in my late 50s and a beginner to rowing (exercise in general). You have certainly inspired me to keep at it. ❤
You should have done a body scanner thing to see how much muscle you've gained coz I'm sure you will be putting on muscle weight too by doing all that work. Definitely look slimmer, so well done! Stay positive and love the pain ;-)
that's great!
great job! (Recommendation if you do more videos probably a quick video/ audio edit improvement your voice over was only coming in on the Left side very weird when listening on headphones )
Don’t worry about what you see as a lack of results in your numbers. Your waist has greatly improved as you stated, but something the scale can’t tell you is how much muscle you’ve grown. So you have to counter the muscle gain vs fat lost. You did great. I more this is two years ago, but that was awesome.

Amazing, love from India tamilnadu trichy
I just bought a rower on sale at amazon, first time i did it, i did not think much, it was one of the cheaper ones, but now i been doing 20 minutes intense twice per day and its starting to show. I am older at 51 but am amazed at what i can still do. Rowing is really fun but 20 minutes at a time is perfect.

hahaha yes looking back it would have been the better rower, but this is what i have and it works :)
What was the 500 m/split and the spm, you were doing? And what was the average distance? I row 4K and a bit in 20 minutes after a 3 year break. I used to do 4K in 15 minutes when I did it every day. BTW I think the results are amazing! Look at the belly (or lack there off). That is the hardest area to get rid of flab! I AM IMPRESSED!
my left ear enjoyed this a lot
You definitely toned down. So good job

Excellent job! Check out correct rowing form and I think you'll maximize what you get out of rowing. Keep up the great work!
You know what? That is a great result for you! Your belly went from sag to taut. You want your midsection to shrink? Watch your diet, drink protein after your workout and drink more water than other drinks. I applaud your results. Wish that I could encourage you with a hug! 👍🏾

I’m at my Day 3 now, aiming for 1 week then 1 month and 100 days. Hope u r doing ok!
As a rower myself I can say that the most important thing is doing the hard days, like they want, but not more than one max effort hard day per week, like two or three half to harder days and one to two rest days (still rowing but light) per week. If you do this, you push yourself and give your body time to adapt after you push yourself.

I also wanted to add that rowing builds muscle! So you will lose fat and gain muscle which will make the scale fluctuate but you will see and feel the difference which is what matters

Yep it was great results I was just trying to say weight wasn't everything and that I was looking at the bigger picture and figured others would have expected more. Thanks for watching
I decided to do my row workout in the morning before work, etc. And even though it is definitely a commitment (which I need) it's been worth it so far. The one rule I made for myself to keep me motivated... can't have breakfast (which I'm usually super eager to have) until I work out which so far is really helping with being consistent. That combination keeps me doing it since I'm terrible at consistent commitment.
Hiii. You are super inspiring. What app did you use?
You could ad an abcore Work out on different days, plus a standing core work out, this will tighten the abs faster, but it is not rowing exercise, just a thought.
Hows the rowing machine working out? Im looking in getting this rower is it holding up
Recovery days are important!

yes they are, and going forward i wouldn't do a straight challenge like this, but i've always struggles with videos titled i did xyz for 30 days and then they say well except for every Tuesday and i took all weekends off and i only actually did it for 24 days of the month... hahaha
me who rows 7 days a week two hours a day: wow...she's amazing
About to start my journey and this is exactly what I needed to see. Thank you! Do you use a companion app or just set your target and go?

Amazing! For the rowing workouts I did use the echelon app. But ypu could easily follow workouts on KZread and track with a garmin watch if you have one
Stay motivated!! 💪
What bike is that on the left ?? is that also echelon ??
If you put in your favourite music wearing wireless headphones it makes it less boring.
I wanna row because I love the benefits and the way I feel but man.. It's so boring. Something about just walking on a treadmill isn't too bad. I can just zone out listen to music.. But rowing has just enough need for paying attention, especially to technique.. That it is just not fun. I hope I can get past it and thanks for inspiring people!
