Rowboat to Bass Boat Conversion Part-4, Turning a row boat to a bass boat, adding 2-Part Foam
I had so many folks ask how the the bass boat conversion was coming along and questions about the two part floatation foam that I thought I would give you all a quick update. In this video I run wire for the trolling motor and boat accessories. I get the hatch drainage in place and I get most of the way through with the floatation foam.

Man you’ve got serious engineering skills. Most builds you see on here they just cobble some crap together and hope for the best…😂 I’m truly impressed with this build.

I appreciate that!
You have truly inspired me. I’m new to boating and fishing and everyone keeps telling me to get a flat bottom which I don’t want. I love this your work and explanations. I’m completely sold now and can’t wait to start

Thanks for watching...
Just what I needed this beautiful Sunday morning! Been following, super solid build. Pretty sure it’s unsinkable and love how maintenance free if any would be needed. Great job 👏🏻. Thank you for sharing your love! 💯

Glad you enjoy it! And thank you.
looking good. unsinkable is good!
Really taking shape and looking good. One thing I like to do on my builds is think about 2-3 years down the road in regards to maintenance and fixes. Reliability and access to fix broken, worn out, and plugged ports. Looking forward to seeing your maiden voyage.
Looking great brah!! Enjoying the Sunday EA video!! Makes me wanna go Fishing!!

Than bro...glad you get a little enjoyment from the vids. We can hit the water one of these days.
WOW, really coming along nicely. A lot of work though, and many details you're dealing with. Should be quite the nice little bass boat when your done!
Looking forward to the finished product!

Me too!
I know I said I was going to stop posting the boat build vids but I'm having a ton of fun with it and learning as I go...so I'm going to share. I will be posting more up-to-date photos and short videos on the EA Facebook page and on Instagram...so if you're interested...toon in there.

I agree with above response. I’d like you to keep posting the boat build videos too🙂.
Coming together great!
Hi, finally your boat is getting close to be completed. You have worked very hard to get in this stage and just looking forward to see the boat in the water. Take care.

Haaa...might as well be😆
Following your lead I am at the point where I should place foam in the boat. It appears that Polymer Planet is not available. In researching other 2 part foam products, many of the comments regarding the products say that the foam shrinks if the skin is cut and that although many say they are closed cell they deteriorate if exposed to water. It has been some time since you completed your project. Have you experienced what I described? I'm really concerned now about finding a suitable foam. Thanks

I actually am redoing the hatches and putting carpet on the decks but in the process I had to expose some of the foam and it looks exactly like it did the day I put it in. One of the problems I did have was that the foam expanded further in the summer heat and warped a couple of spots on the deck. I removed the deck panels and cut the foam flush then put in a new section of pvc deck.
Where did you get that black plastic container?

Home Depot, if I remember right.
The cans of foam are open sell no floatation The A and B foam is close cell very boring

Actually if you watch the first couple of videos of this build, you will see that I tested the can-foam and found it is closed cell and will not absorb water...perfectly good floatation. I prefer the higher density of the two part stuff...and it was less expensive.
