Wow! This brings back some memories! I knew people who worked in South Croydon bus garage back in 1986. I used to work no more than 5 to 10 minutes from there. I also remember when the buses went through Croydon High Street. Such memories and such great changes to the High Street since then!

Used to do this route countless times on my way to college! Wow how amazing to see.

Always fancied a shot of driving one of these buses and still do.

If anybody was keen eyed you may have spotted a Metobus on the 68 That was me driving, it was subbed from a RM at Norwood and my conductor and I took it to TC and then ran it back to Norwood It was the only time a crew operated Metrobus ever ran on the 68.

Great footage brings back fond memories when i visited Croydon as a child.

damn I was only 7 years old back then how time goes by and just look at croydon today its so sad whats happen to it no one goes there no more its a ghost town now days

the green bus makes me sad 😞

The street lights are still the same 27 years later! Pity the RM's are no more, I often used to pass here(TC)

109 the bus I'd take with my mum to Norbury where we lived and the other way to Elmwood school and my mum worked at Philips

Those buses don't seem like a thing of the past. The striking thing is the cars of 1986 look butters.

This is odd to watch for someone born in 2007😂
