I grew up in Springfield and went to many field trips to the Lincoln home and old capital. They hold a very special place in my heart. So happy to see it again!

Enjoying your Route 66 trip, loved the Lincoln house and memorabilia, the restaurant was neat, love the flea market especially the pink element, hippos, muffler man, giraffe and alien spaceship so cool. You and Scott be safe, enjoy your time together, good friends having fun🐾😎

Great part of the trip. Lincoln’s neighborhood is an amazing place. The restoration of the entire area is some of the best in the country. I wish you had gone to his tomb. It is also amazing. Thanks for taking us along.

great tour , Lincoln's house was really cool and kept so well , the diner's are also super nice and look original , its great to see it all still in great shape , i still have some shell stuff from are family gas station and restaurant , and some esso things ect , we where open from 1914 to 1975 , great video !

Interesting of how colorful that era was...we are so used to viewing that period via mono-chrome photos. Today's interiors are drab mono-chrome whites and grays...and minimal stick furniture! Very interesting visit!

I always loved the fact "the boys room" had that balcony. you know they went out the window, down the balcony, and gone.

Lincoln's home is beautiful. Like the spaceship and the candy shop. Hope you got some fudge while you were there. Another fun day. Can't wait for tomorrow's adventures. You and Scott take care.

I recently watched a documentry on restoring this house. They matched everything right down to the wallpaper and Mrs. Lincoln's kitchen gadgets. I loved that you spoke to Mr. Lincoln, he seemed a pretty cool man. I'm loving this vlog and I'm sure you and Scott are having a ball. Can't wait to see you next time.

I'm really enjoying your trip! Fascinating information about the Lincoln home and I don't think people appreciate what families went through during the 1800s. We have progressed so much in such a short span of time. I love all the side trips and historic places. Enjoy the trip! ☺️😊🥰❤️🌴🦩☀️

⛽️⛽️I’m totally shocked that you stopped by the Soulsby station in Mt Olive. We used to eat at Crossroads diner all the time growing up. I still remember the smell of that diner, the bread and butter and the jukebox there. I’m really enjoying your Route 66 Vlog!❤

So awesome that you stopped in my hometown of Litchfield! My mom lives only a block from the Ariston. That museum was kind of new when I left so I never really had the chance to go in. Thanks for the tour! I've been to Lincoln's home a few times, brings back memories! Loved this!

You're doing such an amazing job showing us all the stops on Route 66....,thank you! Lincoln's house reminded me so much of another famous house, The Whaley House in Old Town San Diego. If you've never been there, you should drive a couple hours south when your Route 66 trip ends and check it out. At one time it was said to be "the most haunted house in America". Maybe it still is! 👻

Robert Todd Lincoln’s home in Manchester, Vermont is worth a visit. It’s a beautiful home in an equally beauty location. Robert would become president of the Pullman RR Car company among other achievements.

the historical homes, lizzie borden, Elvis' tupelo home / Lauderdale Courts for example and Lincolns home here all seems smaller, even the furnitures are tiny. makes me wonder if people were smaller back then 😅

Here in KY we claim Lincoln and rightfully so. His birth home is here as well as Mary Todd's. You'll have to visit these places, Jordan. Hodgenville and Lexington.
