Years ago, I read in the Los Angeles Times that the Chevron station didn't sell beer, as the owner didn't want the DUI accidents on his conscious. A bit closer to the tracks is the remains of the Murphy Building. Over the years of my travel through Ludlow, I've noticed the steady deterioration of the historical building.

@@adventurevin7600 I can't get the link to post, but the Murphy Brothers were business owners in Ludlow, including a Chevron Station. John Denair built the mercantile in 1908. I live in Denair, named after John.
