    Hi Carryssa! I just came across your tutorial and I love how you did this Tree of Life. I have a 30mm opalite cabochon that I had no clue what to do with. I'd like to do the same with it. Of course, I'll give you a shout out and credit for the idea...if you don't mind. Thanks a lot for sharing. God bless...

    Hi Caryssa, loved this video! Found your work on Pinterest the other day and wanted to check out these tutorials on KZread! I’m dying to learn how to make jewelry like you do and was wondering if you had any suggestions or recommendations on any resources for complete beginners like me who know nothing?? Any books or videos you’d recommend?

    I get all of my wire from Rio Grande Jewelry Supply :) , I use Copper, Sterling Silver, Rose Gold and Gold so they have lots of options to find something that won't bother your skin :) Thank you so much and I'm glad the video was easy to follow!

    Stay away from raw copper wire that has not been coated. If you like copper jewelry, it is best to get the coated/enameled wire to protect against skin discoloration.

    Anyway to harden this without those two tools? Can I use steel and a regular hammer? Or anything? Or does it have to be hardened?

  • @CreationsByCaryssa

    @CreationsByCaryssa

    2 жыл бұрын

    I'm not quite sure if using steel and a regular hammer would work as I haven't tried it before but you could definitely try. I recommend to harden the wire depending on what softness of wire you use because you don't want it to bend as you are working with it attaching the tree limbs. You could use half hard wire instead of having to hammer it but it is a bit harder to make into round shapes since its already hard. I hope this helps ❤️

  • @CreationsByCaryssa

    Yes you can use round wire, I just use the square wire for a more secure backing as the square helps hold the back a little better :D Thank you!
