Rough Wiring the Skoolie

Фильм және анимация

To rough wire the skoolie we ran Carlon 1/2" conduit.
We made separate runs for our 12 volt light circuits and the 120 volt outlet circuits.
We used 12/3 marine stranded wire for our 120 volt circuits. I know there is some debate about the added cost for stranded wire, but I hate going back and fixing things if I can avoid it by using higher quality materials! (amzn.to/2yzlnTX)
For the 12 volt circuits we also used "repurposed-from-the-bus" 12 gauge wire for the longer runs and 14 gauge wire for the shorter runs.
You can find a cool wire gauge calculator here: www.wirebarn.com/Wire-Calcula...
I'm really liking this crimp tool kit: amzn.to/2vDlg8A
Enjoy, and thanks for watching!

Wanted to give a shout out an THANK YOU to you for showing those three-way switches! Just used this exact wiring set up for my three-way switches in the bus. Worked like a charm! It's cool that there are several of us who are in the build stage together. I'm following along with yours!!
