Thank you Farvann's patrons for bringing us these songs and Farvann for reviewing them. It's a gold mine!

Loads of potential if it just tightened up a little with the breaks and balanced the production, but for a first demo it nailed the feel of 90s nu/groove metal. Subbed to keep an eye on them... Always love a nostalgic throwback to the 90s it was an awesome time.

@@bonescraperband The breaks will have a much harder hitting affect if a little less, but I'm only putting constructive criticism as it's a demo and can be changed up. If it was the finished product I wouldn't complain. Was a slammin' track ✌️

as a Dutchman always nice to hear some new Dutch Metal bands.

Pretty awesome shit that Laura is serving here. The only things that are still missing are scratches and more sound effects. The many breaks sometimes take the momentum out of the song a little too much. Otherwise it's really good.

I wanted to ask you when you made your genre appreciation video, about Nu metal, do you know Snot ? It's old but it's a pretty cool and unique band. Singer died in a car accident in the late 90's so the band stopped (they made live recently with a new singer but well, it's different...). They had a lot of potential. I love their album.

Nu-metal? Sounds very much like old school Swedish death metal to me, particularly Grave. I don't hear anything nu-metal but I'm no expert in that genre.

Nu Metal is so diverse, crazy to think that Rollin' And this song is the same genre

Most "nu metal" was just rap metal, rapcore, and some fusion with a bit of nu metal. Consider Nu metal comes from groove metal so it should be easier to know it's sound. So yeah, rolling is just rap metal

One of them dies and they all miss the show. The story is about the group bringing the body with them and chasing the band across the country kind of like Beulluers day off but morbid. Could have America and get a European trip of out of it. Maybe I’m out of my element

Vocals need a little saturation or a lot😅(little distortion can also help), drums need a little de esser and then compression, bass need boosted lows and highs, guitars can stay that way like u said.

Oh man, I'm sorry, but not my cup of tea. As soon as nu metal vibes enter the room I just can't stomach it. Good luck and all that though. Like so many, I got started with the old thrash metal bands of the early 80s, but I couldn't even listen to Slayer anymore after they started pumping out nu metal/thrash hybrid stuff

I love the Texas blues to gnarly harsh Death and Black. Nu-Metal has loads of bangers. It has a lot of shit just like every genre, but there is some fucking quality albums that still groove today. I don't get what Periphery or any of that over technical stuff is about. I wouldn't want it to go though. Just let people enjoy their jam 🤷🏻‍♂️
