This is all great advice for new dog owners. For new puppy owners... be careful with water and soap around puppy's ears And Don't use too much soap. You can always add more soap if needed. Having too much soap just prolongs puppy's bath. Thanks to Collin & Sahm for making this video and educating people with the "Do's & Don'ts" for raising a well adjusted and behaved puppy.

My Rotti was a “baby shark” as a small pup. Also I was lucky w bathing, my Rotti as a pup ,and now still, always try’s to get in the shower w me..... bathing made easy.

I was so confused what type of a puppy I would get but after watching your videos I decided to get a rotty, your such an amazing with your dogs, much love & respect 🙏🏼

Hey Colin, I recently discovered ur channel and I think you're great! I've had rotties for 30 years on and off, so I know how much love and patience it takes with them sometimes. Great first bath example, you just have an amazing way with the pups. Fluffy being carried and not wanting a bath and backing up into the wall - hilarious! LOL I bathe everyone outside here in AZ though, I have a fear of plumbing issues! Keep up the great work, I hope people can learn from you how to handle these babybears and raise them responsibly. Respect.

Fluffy is like well if we are doing this we are doing it the hard way 🤣 poor fluffy trying to back up through the wall. So funny when you were going to feed junior and the other dogs were all looking in 🤣 I was happy on expecting them to hold little cards up with a score out of 10 for him 🤣

Junior having a bath was adorable. Nice patient handling Dog Dad! Fluffy at the end not wanting a bath was just crack up. I was having a good chuckle. We have resorted to taking the shampoo and a towel to the lake, throwing a ball in the lake, he retrieves it and comes out wet, lathering him up, and then chucking the ball back in so he goes in to wash the lather off and then toweling him when he comes back out. The things we do ! LOL, BTW the graphics on the video links in this video and the last were really cute and eye catching.

Fluffy just wasn't going to have a bar of it. Very cute. The wee pup did very well for a first wash. Great video. Very cool doggos.

Love the video 💙🛁 and pic. You're so gentle and understanding bathing Junior. Fluffy "I don't want a bath Dad, and I'll try and avoid it as much as I can, even edge my back out of the bath and pretend I'm not here!" Lovely dogs. It's nice you keep them clean 💙💦

with Scottie, I did the same thing you did with the cup/bowl, but i took it a little slower, and made sure to add positive reinforcement in between scoops. He was absolute stud with the shampoo, just enjoying every scrub. Rinse, tell him it almost over, then hype tf out of him when it dry off time. Scottie loves getting hyped after the dry off process. Great video man. Gave my Doberman puppy a bath for first time other day and it wasnt nearly as smooth as it was for my first time with Scottie. :P

The first time I bathed my rottie I did it in the kitchen sink and he was so good! He fell asleep in my arms right after. Needless to say, that was the only time he got a sink bath! They grow so fast!

The look on his face was hilarious. So sad, "momma halp!"

Hello from Ireland 🇮🇪 junior is such a sweet boy 🐶

I'd wish there had been KZread videos like this when I had my first Rottweiler puppy back in 1985. I didn't know the importance of introducing her to baths and nail clipping. I recall having to keep her on a very short leash when giving her a bath as she kept trying to escape. And the ordeal of nail clipping - Yikes, we could barely manage it with two of us. One of us would try to keep her in a corner and distract her with treats while the other attempted to clip her nails. You would've thought we were trying to cut off her feet! Love your videos and it's a joy to see the love and care you give your dogs. I want to get another Rottweiler puppy now that I've purchased a large piece of land with woods and a pond.

Always found it much easier to wash my Rotties out in the yard with a water hose!! I couldn't even imagine bathing them in a bath tub!! LOL!

Hey Collin! I usually use a measuring cup with handles. Junior is soo good!! That shampoo is the best. I’ve used it on all my German dogs and Pitties. I warm the towels slightly during winter to dry them off. Great reminders for us.

I used to get in the shower with my Rotties ! It worked so well! I was going to get wet and I liked to get a shower after, so two birds with one stone. Love it when they turn their heads.

I am 67 years old so I’m not up to getting another Rottweiler but I’ve had two in my life and I miss that breed so much, what a wonderful breed. You need to go through training with this dog and not just leave them in the backyard and they will be the best family dog ever and protect everyone in the family it just comes naturally and than you have a big huggy bear and so sweet to where my grandson could ride on his back. And yes they talk with their growl and they don’t mean anything bad. My dog would growl at me when I would be putting on my make up to go to work to let me know that she did not want me to leave.
