Very cute. I have never had any trouble introducing Rotties. Generally my adults have been pretty accepting and Rottie puppies are so bold. Not sure I would have done it with pup in the crate since that might make him feel more cornered than safe. Not to criticize since your method obviously worked. Looks like they are going to be best friends :) I LOVE that smile at 5:00 Funny, I have a 2 year old female with a docked tail and a 7 month old male with tail not docked.

Thank you! We thought introducing them would be easy too lol. I think we underestimated the way Rhaegar felt after a 2 hour car ride home. He wasn't feeling well and was tired. We started them outside but Roxy was too wild outside and it wasn't working out. So we brought Rhaegar in the cage for some control. We mostly had it closed so Roxy could sniff him with having a barrier. It was definitely a slow process for us at first but once Rhaegar felt better and had a nap it got alot better. It was mostly Rhaegar who was grouchy and didn't want to be bothered with Roxy. But yes, thankfully it worked out! Wanted to show that sometimes it's not peaches & cream, daisy's & sunshine when you introduce dogs to puppies. I think thats important to show too. They are the best of friends now though ❤ As you can see from Roxy's smile she was so happy 😁 Thats funny our dogs have matching tails!

try and have a couple or three days off when he comes home. Walking out his first morning is hard on both of you - just a couple of days of you being home will greatly speed up his settling in to his new home without an early feeling of abandonment. Plus - you will love every minute of it!

Thankfully I get to be with him all the time so he doesn't get left at home all alone. He settled in pretty quickly 🥰

He's going to be a stocky boy, The German rotts usually are, And he'll probably be very mellow with a great temperament due to his Bloodline, breeders Purify everything in pups from temperament to health ! Where did you come up with his name? That is so unique, I've never heard it. It took me 2 months to come up with the name for my pup, Well I'm excited to watch him grow! 🐾🐾

He sure is! He has a great temperament, both his parents do. That was really important to me. His name is from Game of Thrones, Rhaegar is Jon Snows father & Daenerys brother, if you're familiar with the series. I love the names in that show, they are for sure unique! What name did you decide on for your pup? I had a year to think of his name because we always knew we were getting a boy lol. Thanks so much for following our journey 🥰

I named him tekoa'" koa means warrior', . WELL I love Rottweilers always have they're my first f dog and my last... Blessing to you all 🐾

I had a German line girl but sadly she had hip dysplasia and she made it to her 10th birthday 🥳. She was beautiful and gentle

I was lucky in that decade’s ago when my wife and I had rotties and my kids were wee Nairn’s the both of them without any prompting always lay down between the fence and the bairns

Very nice dogs, where you get them from ? I never had a Rottweiler but always liked them. There was a big breeding kennel i saw once by Lake Oroville in Northern California. Lady was a Truck driver and they had pups for $50 but this was like 30 Years ago.

Thank you! We got Roxy from Space Coast Rottweilers & Rhaegar from Vom Hause Vasquez. Both in Florida. Rottweiler puppies are alot more than $50 dollars now lol but they are worth every penny ❤

@@RuffHausRottweilers when I saw the Rottweiler ranch type kennel, puppies was only 4 weeks old so they said to come back again but it was 600 Miles drive each way so never did. Parents big and healthy 120-130 pounds. Definitely worth more than $50 even in 1993.

That is quite a drive! Rottweilers are such great dogs, highly recommend one if you are ever in the position to get one. We plan on breeding Rhaegar & Roxy and keeping a pup from their litter in the future. Beautiful, smart & loyal dogs🖤🤎

@@RuffHausRottweilers Yes I was looking at Cane Corso and Kangal Dog too, but went back to Liking my Rottweiler dogs Best. Definitely need Time to spend, I will decide as starting Job soon after no job in 4 years. My Dad and brother stay home all the time so depending on them too.

@@RuffHausRottweilers I only found 1 really nice= Healthy and Happy 2 Year old female Rottweiler on the Adoption or Rescue website, free dog and maybe free vaccines once adopted. Most dogs are underweight or sick or have abuse. Yet when I was at a dinner and people heard me talking about breeding dogs they was quick to say that's Bad or should not be done and i should go to the Shelter for adoption.
