My first Rottie, Aja, was Shutzhund-bred and trained by a woman from Germany who bred and trained Rottweilers. I didn't need my dog trained in Shutzhund, so she trained her with some amazing techniques. She made my dog Love training sessions. It was so fun for Aja, because she was so intelligent. She was meant to be my companion, and I never considered myself to be an 'owner.' She knew commands in two languages. When I gave her commands in German, it meant RIGHT NOW. When I gave her commands in English, it meant 'whatever.' She was taught to think for herself. What a beautiful girl. I miss her so much. ❤

I just buried my 8 year old female 2 days ago. She wasn't a schutzhund, she was an absolute angel. She brought joy and laughter to every thing and every one she ever met. My third rottie. She will be dearly missed. Rotties are awesome. 😢 The lady in the video needs a schutzhund to keep people off her. Good Lord Almighty.

My Rottweiler has a toy arm. It's just a plastic Halloween prop. It's not her favorite toy but she's had it a long time and she hasn't destroyed it. I think she might not feel comfortable biting something that looks like a human arm. I tried to play tug with it and it just slips out of her mouth Mostly she just fetches it

I guess it's fair to sat that the dog is quite enjoying itself. Here's hoping that when it goes home, it just settles into the family life and relaxes accordingly.

Well over all she did a great job, a bit more traning the rottweiler will be doing great job.

the dog should of outed at around the 5 minute mark and didnt, that is major poinnts loss, but over all pretty good, she didnt acheive schutzand 3, but good try none the less.

yeah, that must've sucked man. :/ I was rooting for it the whole way, then once I seen it not Aus on the 3rd call I felt like my heart dropped! lol But, one good thing that dog had going for it was its eagerness and willingness to work. When he was heeled and waiting to run into the blind on the helper, you could literally SEE the eagerness to ruin up and bite, hehe. He was trying his damnest to restrain his urge to lunge in and bite, haha.

THE WORST HELPER EVER !! HOW THE HELL THIS GUY GOT CERTIFIED? HE WAS SWINGING THE SLEEVE ALL THE TIME DURING THE SCAPE !!...EVEN THE NEWEST ROOKIE WILL KNOW ABOUT THIS !! WOW !!

Vante kun I mean Schutzhund originated in Germany for German shepherds and most people give German commands because of that..

Michael Sanchez it's FCI dog (Europe). Prohibited docking the tails in FCI.

Next Rottweiler you train, as part of preliminary obedience, implement a double clicking command that means Stop. Yelling is unnecessary and unattractive. I understand for schutzhund und schutzdienst , an oratory call is rule.otherwise, guten schutz meine freund

The handler usually is at the huge distance from the helper and the dog. If it’s a big Championship it can be on a soccer field, the rule is to yell the command, but from far away. Attractive or not, doesn’t matter for the handler, they are performing not to look attractive, but to title the dog or some for the winning and get a trophy. To me, for enjoyment and presenting the dog. There are very few left, who are capable to work. People make money on puppies, no one wants to input so much work for such complicated sport as Schutzhund cause it’s not only protection it’s also a tracking phase and Obedience. If anything the dog fails, no title. That dog gradually with time was losing hearing. The age affects everyone. She lived till almost 14. Retired at 10.
