Maybe fans will animate the full fight or somethin I don’t know. Also, there is a season 3 fan project that’s been going on in case you haven’t heard!

Fun fact!: there’s a team of animators, who have animated over these, and made it look as close to the ROTTMNT style as possible, I’m not quite sure what they’re called but I believe it’s something like “ROTTMNT: Reanimated”, I could try to find the link ^^

From what I'm seeing, The Disaster Twins could have had moment to shine, if this wasn't cut out.

I love the part where Leo comes in after Krang breaks through the building instead of Raph coming in and doing the punch

You bleneded the storyboards and final animation super well! I can see now why we didn't get all of that in the final cut, it works better as it is, but that doesn't mean seeing it all together isn't fantastic and so so cool! Excellent choice of music as well

It was either time, or budget. But if this was final it wouldve been one of the best movies of the year, but the movie we have now is still really good

im totally absolutely normal about them *hyperventilating, hands shaking, in awe of their pure insane badassery*

They got hit so hard they went color blind just to get slammed so hard they could see and taste colors

Just thinking the actual full fight scene could’ve been almost three minutes is crazy!

This show will be like the 07 TMNT movie where years from now people will have a new appreciation for it but for now after 5 years there are some that are just discovering this series and having the same mixed reactions as those that did back in 2018

Looking at it after watching the movie, I can speculate as to why some of the cuts didn't make it in the final film. Too long a fight scene. I suspect the movie needed to be kept at a certain length for some platforms. Not only that, if a fight scene in general is too long, it wears down the audience and they won't have enough mental energy for the hype that comes with the next parts after the fight. Also, some of the animatics were a little hard to follow as a first-time viewer, especially since we've only seen the turtles first use their signature powers in the series finale episode before this movie ever existed. Lastly, continuity and flow. If you noticed in the final version, when Leo teleports the brothers for one final smash to the Krang Leader, the action of Leo's sword throwing was easier to follow, compared to these animatics where Leo's sword flying, and then the boys forming up, then Leo teleporting to the sword's location results in a broken flow. In a production, one of the key elements to keeping the audience engaged in a movie is the general flow, not just in the plotline, but in little things like what I just mentioned. As epic as these animatics are, the production team really cared about how an audience would see this movie, and went above and beyond to ensure quality in their work. Props to them! I greatly enjoyed it!

While I do agree, like much of the rest of the movie, this fight got cut to fit the run time. I would say this is the majority or sole reason. Half of season 2 was cut so I would say this is the reason. I have to disagree with the fight being too long. The Shedder fight was longer than this and that fight was great I was not feeling fatigued at all, in fact I wanted more.

This is absolutely incredible

Knowing that so much was cut from the final battle kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth cause it was basically finished, it just needed to be finalized
