We had a blast! We do look for every bit of fun we can have, so plenty more of that to come! I think the HAL Sail Away Party had a lot less guest participation than maybe some other lines, but they had awesome giveaways! We were given a free printed photo of our choice, but other giveaways included jewelry, shore excursions, & more! Thanks for watching!

We always love trivia, but the music at night is probably our favorite. We love the piano players, the Rolling Stones band, and B.B. King blues! We also had so much fun at any of the games. I know we have footage of us doing some of those. 😂

Thanks, what did you have on your phone when you embarked? It looked like a bar vode of zome kind. Did you have any trouble getting table for 2 in the dining room.. any trouble getting a lounge on the pool de k or did people put a towel on them and never come back. Thank in advance.

It was a barcode! It was our boarding pass. If you download the Holland America navigation app before you get on the cruise, it has lots of helpful information, including storing your boarding pass! You can still use paper if you prefer, but it’s great to have as a back up. The navigation app also has menus, excursion tickets, itinerary, including daily events, and so much more. I highly recommend downloading it before getting on the ship. We never had any trouble getting a table for two! As far as the pool deck, we never look for loungers. We usually prefer a table with chairs. They were always available. I can’t remember if the loungers were always available since I never specifically looked for them. I do believe they were open though. Especially near the aft pool. It was a little more crowded at the midship pool. Thanks so much for watching!
