The original idol is definitely cleaner. The AI core technology in the optimum took the original ikon core and dropped the rg from 2.49 to 2.47. It also raised the diff. from .052 to .056. The result was an earlier and sharper ball.

Nick. What did you think of the idol synergy and how would it compare to the optimum idol? Would they compliment each other?

I didn’t like the Synergy all that much. Very weak cover. The Optimum has a much stronger cover and it’s solid. It’s pretty much the same way the original Idol was in comparison to the Synergy.
