Can the lights in the normal labour room be dimmed (like they can in the pool birthing room?)

Do all the staff on the morning shift still finish two hours before they should on Saturday and Sunday?

No such thing as morning shifts- they do 12hr shifts,which are busy from start to finish, and if anyone does go early, it would be to try and get back some of the many unpaid overtime that they work.
