Ross Park Zoo Full Tour - Binghamton, New York
The Ross Park Zoo is a zoo located in Binghamton, New York, United States. The zoo was opened in 1875, making it the 5th oldest zoo in the nation. The zoo (known as the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park from 2005 to 2020) is open seasonally from April through December.

The zoo also contains, outside the entrance of the zoo, a pavilion with areas for barbecuing, a small park, and rest rooms. The old lions den has been freshly renovated and is being used for educational programs with seating "behind bars". The zoo is also a neighbor to the Discovery Center, which is a hands-on children's museum.

I got a hat when I went it's a very cute zoo the animals are well taken care of. The binturong smells like popcorn. Wolf's were a no go for us too. You were 15 minutes away from Animal Adventure.
Yes, Tom that's a very nice variety of special/endangered animals for a smaller zoo. :) I must point out that no animals seemed stressed or were pacing even if their habitat wasn't up to par, but I also hope the zoo can update and upgrade for the animals sake. It's lovely to see the zoo mixed with a park setting. You filmed some fantastic shots, especially the zoom in of the cougar toward the end, but I truly enjoyed your interactions with the goats and sheep. Thank you for another great video.

I was there in July. I was struck by how much they seemed to be hurting for money. I hope the make it but they definitely need to update a lot of the habitats. (Dramatic contrast to next week’s small zoo.)

Why, Ross Park Zoo is a major conservation center even if it doesn’t seem like it. They were almost the last place you could see gray wolfs on the east coast. They house some of the last of several near extinct wetland grass species, those politicians that you want caged are the only people keeping this place running
