Thomas, Percy, James,Toby and Roise are my top 5 favorite along with Edward, Henry and Gordon

That “couple” thing was hinted in 4 episodes. One of each in both Seasons 13 (Splish, Splash, Splosh), 15 (Stuck on You), 16 (Sodor Surprise Day), & 22 (Rosie is Red). You could say the Nitrogen era was like the flirting/dating seasons, and then Bwuhba was the hint of an-almost confirmed marriage.
