Rose Tyler, my first and favourite doctor who companion! She was the ordinary girl from the Powell estate who went on to do extraordinary things travelling with the doctor in the tardis! I remember watching her as a kid and thinking, that could be me! She was fun, relatable, and didn't take any nonsense from the doctor! I loved her family and her dynamics with both the ninth and tenth doctors! She was absolutely fantastic and billie piper's performances in episodes like Father's Day were so beautifully emotional! This was an amazing tribute to Rose Tyler, thank you! ❤🌹🐺😊

This is a nice spoiler for me. I love Jack. I'm watching Doctor Who for the first time and now on season 8, and it really pisses me off that in the Moffat era doesn't mention the old companions at all. Also, Martha and Jack could very well appear in the show. By the way, Torchwood is not mentioned after season 4, either.​ @carol5960

Rose my girl. ❤ I think what set her apart is not just the fact that she loved the doctor completely selflessly but he loved her back in the same way. She liked traveling sure but that's not what mattered to her. She just didn't want him to be alone. She saw this broken man and thought yeah he needs someone. She never blamed him if things turned bad because she knew that he'd move the stars themselves to keep her safe and if he couldn't he'd blame himself. Just a beautiful relationship

She was incredible the woman the doctor loved. You could see it with 10. The secret power she had when she was just an ordinary girl who absorbed the time vortex, earned the title of Bad Wolf and Defender of The Earth. ❤

Beautifully done... I've only recently grown to love Rose Tyler as a companion and this video solidified my judgment of her character. I feel very much moved by her story, which was incredible yet tragic, always with high stakes. In that aspect I believe she suited The Doctor. Sometimes I believe he saw himself in Rose like she was what he had lost during the Time War - the humanity, the awe for the Universe and the joy of living. They truly were soulmates, in my opinion. Thank you for your amazing work

Oh my, you've done it again. I have just been transported more than ten years back, back to when I discovered the Doctor and devoured episode after episode with stars in my eyes and grin on my lips and tears on my face, too. An absolutely fantastic tribute to Rose; an incredible sketch of what the Doctor does to their companions, in all manners of that phrase, good and bad. Nostalgia clenches my throat and makes me smile so wide and oh, this show grabs the heart and never lets go. Amazing work as always ❤❤

A lot of these videos I just have playing on loop when I'm not in the mood for anything on my spotify. I could listen/watch these all day and week. especially when I feel down they're just what I need

You have such an incredible knack for creating a narrative structure in this type of longform compilation. You know what it reminds me of? You know those compilations they make for actors winning a big, personalised career award at an award show? It's like that, in the best way. Weaving all of the emotions in a block format and doing it seamlessly. They're brilliant!

Rose will always be my favourite ♥ Doctor's companions kept getting more and more special but Rose was just an ordinary girl. I could relate to her even though I've never been to England. So sad her story had to end

Its interesting they very clearly steerer away from any further companions that became directly romantically involved - reciprocated, specifically, by the doctor too, after Rose. The closest we have is Clara, but he regenerated in that form to distance himself in that way.

This, is, and I don't say this lightly, I think the single best edit I have ever seen. It is perfect.

You have no idea how much your videos means to me, they're always so beautiful and meaningful and I wanted to thank you for this another masterpiece. I started watching Doctor Who at the New Who and so, the first companion I discovered was Rose, with 9 they made me love this show. I absolutely love this video

She's always there when the people she cares about most die, but it's all out of order, first 10 before she even met the doctor properly, then her dad in the dead timeline, then her mom (cybermen version), so on and so forth lol.

She is the 90s girl everyone was in love with. Even the girls.

Согласна, Роуз была замечательна и заслуживала лучшей концовки, как и Донна. Заставили они меня порыдать конечно. А как я рыдала когда 10й перед регенерацией отправился в последний раз увидеть Роуз. Вообще их история была невероятно красива и грустна. К слову, я сейчас смотрю Доктора Кто в первый раз, и я много слышала про Доктора и Ривер, но я сейчас на 8м сезоне и никаких отношений там в помине нету. Там есть Ривер которая безумно любит Доктора и Доктор который воспринимает её как должное и вызывает только когда она нужна ему кого то замочить. Я очень разочарована, особенно учитывая что есть моменты как Ривер говорит что Доктор возил её по невероятным местам, делал для неё романтичные вещи, а в сериале этого нету вообще.

@@KBeez я, честно говоря, Ривер не очень люблю. Как отдельный персонаж она бы мне очень возможно понравилась. Но их отношения с Доктором абсолютно мимо меня. Особенно после Роуз. И если уж признаваться то по полной. Я ещё и одиннадцатого доктора, пондов и клару не люблю. Из всех спутников, которых написал Моффат, мне понравилась только Билл. И, несмотря на некоторые нюансы, мне всё-таки очень нравится Двенадцатый Докиор. Опять же больше всего в тандеме с Билл. Да и вообще десятый сезон я больше всего люблю у этого шоураннера. А так я навсегда РТДшница🤷🏻‍♀️ (то бишь фанатка первых четырех сезонов, когда шоураннером был Рассел Ти Дэвис).

@@tasha1727 наконец то я нашла кого то кому тоже не нравится Одиннадцатый! Он меня так раздражал, я просто не могу. Он точно как и с Ривер воспринимал Пондов как должное, когда захочу появлюсь и вы идете со мной. Я люблю Мэтта Смита, но его Доктор вообще мимо меня. А Двенадцатый мне пока что нравится, хотя характер у него не подарок. Я ещё не дошла до Билл, но слышала много хорошего о ней. А Ривер. Мне кажется что Моффат просто просрал весь её потенциал. Тут можно было бы такую красивую историю сделать, но нет. Меня ещё бесит один момент , Одиннадцатый оставил Ривер сразу после исчезновения Пондов и больше о ней не вспоминал, даже Кларе о ней не говорил, хотя она его жена. Хотя зачем о ней говорить если можно флиртовать с Кларой вместо этого. Максимальное неуважение к персонажу. Мне обидно за неё. Эра РТД тоже моя любимая, там и персонажи намного лучше прописаны, мы знаем их предыстории, следим за их развитием, все грамотно связано между собой. А у Моффата, с чего вдруг Эми стала моделью, затем журналистом а потом вдруг писательницей? Она ни разу не показала предрасположенности вообще к какой либо работе. А их с Рори семьи? Никого кроме отца Рори вообще не показывали, родню Эми только совсем мельком. Они знают что их дети навсегда пропали? Как они отреагировали? Как они вообще будут жить дальше с этим? И ещё странно что почти не показали как их исчезновение повлияло на самого Доктора. С Десятым мне нравилось то что он был более человечным и ты можешь видеть как он меняется от сезона к сезону. Какой он счастливый был с Розой и какие у него практически всегда печальные глаза в сезоне с Мартой, и как он потихоньку начинает восстанавливаться рядом с Донной и потом снова абсолютно разбитый в конце в полном одиночестве. Как то прочитала один комментарий который мне очень запал, РТД писал Доктора так будто он хотел путешествовать вместе с ним, а Моффат так будто он хотел быть Доктором. Извиняюсь за такой длинный ответ, накипело немного 😅

Hello, I have just finished rewatching Billie Piper on Doctor Who plays the character of Rose Tyler I have a preference for the character and her dynamic in series one where she is more grown-up but in series two, she’s too immature and childish, which can be annoying sometimes which I don't enjoy and these are my opinions on the character. but the immature and childish is spot on and helps remind us that this is a 19-yr-old little baby that the Doctor caught up in his mission to save the universe in order to avoid his grief and trauma, and she's doing the best she darn can being that she's A NINETEEN YEAR OLD lil baby facing down monsters and choosing bravery at every turn!! 💖💖💖💖💖

i mean, should someone, anyone ever touch her, i firmly believ ethe doctor will like incinerate half of the universe to punish that entity
