Ive had a beautiful New Dawn Climbing Rose for 20 years and only learned, a couple of years ago, how to prune it for more blooms. As you say, it makes such a difference and now I have so many more flowers! Thank you for all of your tips.

Marta how big is your garden? It always looks so sprawling and spacious but in some clips I see other houses not that far. Always so happy to see your videos come up and you sharing your knowledge. Looking forward to an update this spring on your roadside planting. All the best!!!

You give me such confidence with your casual exoerimtsl style of pruning roses. We can always experiment ! They are our plants. I’m doing as you with my iceberg climber. I’m actually training it to go through an upper deck fence. Fingers crossed . I’ll love it ! Enjoy your videos😎

My 2nd year growing roses. Do I prune the long 5-6 feet canes that have grown from main canes from my DA large climers Teasing Goergia and Old Wollerton Hall? It seems I would miss many roses from these canes.

Some of the branches you leaved on roses are brown inside. The best thing is pruning for yellow-white cut. And again: you need to use special gloves for roses. Sometimes pricking rose thorns can lead to serious problems.

Early spring/late winter. It’s good to remove the old leaves before new season arrives for health reasons

How and when to prune old canes from climbing roses?... I made some mistakes or pruning some main canes (not in the right moment) and the rose never made the same strong long principal canes
