ROSE GOLD HAIR AT HOME | Moroccanoil Color Depositing Mask
Hey everyone!
On today’s video I’m going to be dyeing my hair rose gold with Moroccanoil Color Depositing Mask.
I’ve had this idea for a few months now and I ordered the mask online from TradeSecrets.ca. It took a bit longer than expected to receive it, but I’m so happy I finally got it. I've noticed that this mask is sold out in a lot of places, so you might have to do some research to find it. They also sell it at Sephora and obviously on the Moroccanoil website.
Since my hair is quite blonde, I decided to dilute the mask with my regular conditioner. I just wanted to play it safe since it is the first time I’m trying this and I was really looking to achieve a more pastel look.
A word of advice, these kinds of temporary hair colors don't stick to virgin hair and the results vary a lot based on the starting point. For example, I had a lot of babylights in my hair, so of course the dye stuck more onto them and they are more vibrant in color now.

Awesome! Mixing the color with conditioner really makes the result lighter and more pastel. 😊🙏🏻 Great idea if you have a blonde base color!

WAY TOO PRETTY
So I understand not wanting a super dramatic effect and diluting with conditioner is good for that! However… the instructions say to put on towel dried hair. Damp hair does the same thing… dilutes the color. Still a great result though! Might be why it faded out so much faster. Still going to try the product! Thanks for sharing the results!

Looks AMAZING! I just bought it because I didn't want to spend another $200 to get my hair dyed the same colour to have it fade in 2 weeks and I've been watching vids to get myself familiarized with the process! I do have a question! How much conditioner should I mix in with the product? I also want a light effect but I wasn't sure what the ratio of conditioner:product should be.
I saw your follow up video but how long did it take to completely wash out? Could I use the small mask size with conditioner? I accidentally bought the small one lol.

I would say that to completely 100% wash out it took me 9 or 10 washes. I think the small size mask with conditioner would be more than enough if you're not looking for a super intense result :) Give it a try! And then if you like it just buy the bigger mask 😘
how much product did you put? cuz i want to mix it as well with the conditioner for a lighter result

Hey! I just free-handed everything, but I put roughly 1/4 of the rose gold dye and 3/4 my regular conditioner. Also remember that the longer you let the color stay in your hair, the more intense the result will be. I hope this helps! 😊
