The thing is, Stephanie Beatriz is nothing like Rosa. She's just amazing at playing that role. And I wouldn't be surprised if Danny Trejo is nothing like Machete in RL either.

@@mandolo100 Danny does have a criminal past, including violent crimes, but he seems to not only be reformed but also does work trying to help prisoners/ex-cons get back on their feet. So definitely a good dude nevertheless.

Rosa Is probably one of the best-written characters in all of television history. She is so many things at the same time she's Latina, Bisexual, A Badass with a soft side, and a cop. A shitty tv show would only use one of these as a personality.

I agree with both Andrey and mona, having her be straight wouldn’t add or take away anything from her character, which is why its executed so well. If making her bisexual had changed rosas character it would mean they used it as a character trait, when in reality its not something that decides who u are

We really need to see Arlo at least once as the badass dog of Rosa, probably just staring while Jake or Charles to do the Good Boy thing but only reacts when Rosa says it once with no emotion

@@AnimatedTerror 33 to be specific, and pretty sure matt groening, wants it to keep going. at least that's what he said after the 25th season. also fox is very audience driven, so if people still watch episodes and if they are one of the biggest cashcows for them, they'll run it to the ground.

Rosa's a sweetheart really. But if you ever told her she's a softie, she would END you.

Rosa is the perfect human, and the way Holt says vindication at the end kills me EVERY TIME.

My all time favorite scene is when Holt and Rosa are crying and he says, “We’re both great at this”. It gets me every time.

That said, when I was making the list the fact that they were both single words was a large part of why it was funny to me, so I am genuinely pretty sure knowing myself that even if I had remembered that I would have referred to it as an honorable mention or a PS, so that's what I'm going to do here

“I hacked it, I’m a hacker.” Holt takes any “stupid victory,” and I live for it.

It's all about Diaz's emotional side but still you included the *pegging* scene. Just like no B99 fan can escape the *Bone* scene :D

Great character development! The guest star Labrador was my favorite!

Rosa and Holt's connection and interactions are my favorite thing about B99. It's nice to see the typically tough, not sentimental characters, being very open with each other and having enough trust in their friend, to show emotion and lift each other up.

Yo también soy Bi, y Dios mis padres son muy tradicionalista, y aparte vivo en un pueblo enano con muchos gilipollas (un chaval me llamo maricon en mitad de la calle por llevar una bolsa del orgullo, el chaval tenía 10 años), y Joder entiendo lo que estás pasando. Lo que te quiero preguntar, es si sabes si tienen una postura homófoba. Tal vez son imparciales en el tema y no les importa que seas Bi. Yo(yo) intentaría colar el tema en una conversación, por ejemplo yo que se ver alguna serie/peli en la tele donde aparezca alguna escena LGTB A mí me sirvió de mucho hacer amigos que formaban parte del colectivo, hizo que todo me resultará más fácil, y me guardara menos cosas. Muy buena suerte, y no te preocupes que te aseguro de que no te querrán pase lo que pase, por qué si eres Bi, pero para ellos primero eres su hija 🌈🌈🌈🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

Thinking about it now, they all have a side that surprises us when we watch it for the first time. Like Holt having a wild side, Amy sticking up for herself in from of Holt, Rosa’s soft side, Jake’s mature side and Terry’s rude side (he doesn't really have one but I can't think of anything rn)

I came out as bisexual to Republican parents in 2017. I had always known ever since I knew what the term bisexual meant anyways. My dad is a Republican politician. (Thank god he doesn’t do politics anymore because I now couldn’t support him, I was a kid and early teen when he finished up) ANYWAYS, I was too scared to just speak to them. So I wrote a letter. I thought the reactions would be opposite, my dad would say he didn’t understand but would try to learn, and my mom would just accept immediately. My mom has always been more liberal than my father. The reaction was the TOTAL opposite. My mom said she loved me, but she thinks I was just grieving because my long term boyfriend had passed so suddenly and unexpectedly. When I tried to explain I had known for years she just went “Okay just know I love you even if I don’t understand.” My dad didn’t even mention anything else. Didn’t try to reason that it may have been from grief. He said “Okay love you.” Now of course they both are very open and accepting. I had to remind myself that this was news for both of them I guess. Because the only significant others they met were all men. So it was surprising. When Rosa came out to her father I sobbed. Like actively full on running down my face tears. Because I felt her pain and worry so so deeply. She was always my favorite character even before she came out. But when she did it was solidified.

He has, when they investigated the murder and wanted to help the mother of the victim, Rosa started crying after she said "she reminds me of my mom" apparently for a long time with Jake, but we didn't see it, just referred to after they left the room.

the scene where rosa breaks the door glass to catch gina makes me laugh so much everytime

Holt and Diaz relationship was def one of my favorites.
