Dennis fedor and chael doesnt come close. Mousasi and macdonald are arguably the best in their ddivisions and in their prime. Plus dada and kimbo was just the greatest display of combat skill thats ever been documented

Yeah that's why I said this is still bigger if you look at it competition wise, but Chael and Fedor are bigger names than Rory and Mousasi. Wouldn't surprise me if there's more hype for that fight than Rory vs Mousasi. Unfair, but it is what it is.

This is a killer fight. I can't wait. I got Rory, but if Gegard is on his A game, it could be a tough fight for Rory. Rory will never crumble unless his body is absolutely done. I have seen Gagard fade a few times when things weren't going his way. Rory is as mentally tough as they come and I think he will be a little quicker and his overall skill set is a little better than Mousasi's. Gagard is a beast though, so it won't be an easy win. Rory wanted to enter the Heavyweight tournament,so no one can ever say Rory is afraid to fight anyone.

I think Rory would still beat Woodley. Rory isn't afraid to get hit and he has a good chin. Rory pressed him the entire fight. I think they only fought for 3 rounds last time so imagine if they fought for 5 rounds?! Rory stuffed all Woodleys takedowns and reversed it and took him down. I think Rory is Woodleys kryptonite. The one fighter that he won't be able to beat. Rory just doesn't care at all about how strong or hard hitting you are. He would have beaten Lawler but his nose was done and his body couldn't take it anymore. Rory gassed Woodley in 3 rounds so imagine 5 rounds. Rory would probably finish him because Woodleys wrestling isn't a threat to Rory and Rory has a longer reach with an effective jab and taller and all Woodley would have is an overhand right that Rory already ate.

Damn, talk about two warriors. This has all the makings of MMA Fight of the Year.

I think Rory needs the tacticians at Tristan in his corner for this one. Although, they hold back the “killer” side of him and make him too technical and strictly sticking to the game plan. Mousasi is Dutch sow offcorse! Sam Schilt, Ernesto Hoost, Peter Aerts, Remi Bonjaski, Rico Verhoeven, Badr Hari, Tyrone Spong, Alistair Overeem, Errol Zimmerman, Gokhan Saki... and thats just our top 10 list at heavyweight! what about Ramon Dekkers, Rob Kaman, Andy Souwer and the list goes on! Sow Gegard has a huge advantage on the feet and Rory wont keep him down! Gegard admits his weakness is wrestling sow trains with HEAVYWEIGHT wrestlers for jears just to get up fast. This will be something like the Weidman fight, get up fast and defeat him in the later rounds. Smart move from Rory has nothing to lose exept his legs ;) Shame the UFC is onley about money because Gegard would first have defeated eye poke DC and after that Whittaker!

I wonder what the UFC thinks that the current Bellator Welterweight champion defeated their current welterweight champ, and he did it convincingly.
