Ever since I heard "Taste" Rory became my hero. Since 1969 I have been listening and went to his concerts when possible. He did sell millions of records, don't make no mistake about that. I still can't believe he died at such a young age. Enjoy his music, everybody!

I was 20 y.o.. I had one Rory’s album (Irish Tour). Then Rory came in my hometown (Zemun Belgrade, 1984). Never after I didnt see artist who left his hart on stage like Rory. I wish I had opportunity to see him live at least once more.

This is sooo freaking good !!!

Quite a unique track from Rory....heard it on one of those absolutely amazing BBC in concerts..(check all of them out...). This blues track is distinguished by Rory's super feel for sad melodic blues...This truly was a stand out track.... Screaming sad guitar perfectly overlapping the great accompaniment by Lou Martin on the keyboards. Just the best all round guitarist of his generation.

a musician (at least my definition), is one who expresses their soul through their instrument. arguably, not all souls are equal in this ability. this man proves that most intimately - that keyboard solo is pretty swell also bb king said the blues involves 3 L's, life, love, laugh. I always say the 4th L is loss. if you have not loved and lost, you just wont get the blues

Joe LaPorte........oh please NO! NEVER! I'm sure you mean well but the RRHOF is the very commercialism that Rory spent his all-too-short life shunning, he'd weep! THIS man should have been inducted (long ago!) into the BLUES Hall of Fame alongside his contemporaries but more so, the very artists who were Rory's heroes - the Bluesmen he so loved, paid homage to and was so tremendously inspired by. It's a crying shame, (SRV and EC are there) I'd have thought that would be the obvious place for this amazing man.

My friend in Greece Rory is not only a HOF but a fucking music Legend!

@staleyismissed too true, most these days do not get it. I recall the 70s fairly well hunting around second hand vinyl record shops for Johnny Winter, Rory, Deep Purple, Led Zep, Stones etc etc. Maybe in the 60s and 70s musicians displayed far more humility than now, who knows, but it seems that way. Players like Rory earned respect the hard way. Rory Forever

I am 36 yrs. old and luckily i had an uncle who turned me on to all the real good music of the 60's and 70's and I thank god i had someone like him to teach me the true meaning of talent and musicianship.. I believe nowadays these kids are not being shown the light when it comes to people like Rory and many others. All you see and hear now is rap and raprock and soon these guys are gonna be like dinosaurs to the future genration oflisteners.

Without doubt the best ever blues song from Rory, it pulls the soul out a strand at a time, takes bites out of it on the way out, shreds the nerve endings till you drip blues blood, Rory was a master of blues, its in every word, every note. This is gutsy, gritty, seductive, sexy blues at its absolute best, gives me chills, makes me cry, this song has everything a lover of blues needs. Rory you are The Man.

Roy Bucanon tried to imitate Rory and got the same pedal too. He had some recognition as a blues man but don't you agree he is not Rory's equal? I believe he was the best White blues player of the time . SRV was real good and I knew him too, so was Johnny Winter , and maybe Clapton but just listen to this man play........It can make a old cat cry.
