Fantastic video. I was wondering what have I done to my first rope kit and the answer is right here, lack of proper care. I was also instructed to wax rope as treatment, but now I'm gonna oil them first (I buy untreated). Thank you so much!

Outstanding content. Thanks for the food for thought on using wax. Your ropes have given myself and my bunnies hours of pleasure. Keep the videos coming, especially suspension ties, your box tie is the only one I use now!!

A better way and maybe a more accurate way to describe the ropes "energy" would be to say the ropes tension against itself. Which I think is also potential energy in physics terms.

Can you use coconut oil? It's an oil that hardens at certain temps so I'm guessing probably not

Mineral oil is best, it doesn't spoil or sour.
