Silvia animal love is far greater than human love. Human love doesn’t come close, human love is filled with inconsistencies and animal love is always consistent.

I once had a roommate that owned a large white male cockatoo as a pet. I mostly ignored the bird and visa versa. We left the cage open while we were home, but he mostly remained in the cage. One day I came home, cracked open a beer and poured it into a glass. The bird was making more noise that usual, so I went over for a look. He leaned out of the cage and went straight for my beer with his beak! That's when I realized he had no water. I filled up his water and rubbed his head while he drank up. After that, I read the bird care book my friend owned and realized my roommate was not doing the best job. So everyday, I made sure he had water, food, treats... And all that led to, companionship. After just a few days, the bird would come out of his cage everyday and walk up onto my chest as I lay on the couch. He would often fall asleep as I rubbed his head watching TV. It was nice until my roommate moved out and away to another state. About 10 years later, I went to visit my old friend. As soon as I sat on the couch, the bird was on the way to his old spot, climbing up my legs and resting on my chest as I rubbed his head. Companionship, gratitude, that is what I felt.

When I was around 8, I rescued a hen from slaughter in a bazaar in my hometown of Calcutta. She became like a sister and a friend to me, and we spent years bonding, playing, sunning ourselves in the verandah of my bungalow in the afternoons. She is one of the reasons that I gave up eating meat. RIP my sweet princess.

This breed of chicken the cochin is actually very affectionate. I had several all roosters and they would greet me every day when I would come home from work. One of them that I named Elvis would fly up and sit on my lap when i was outside in my chair and wanted to be petted. They are very loving birds! Great video!

I grew up with pet chickens, and they loved to hang out with us. They were the ones with names! But, the ones without names were... delicious.

Awwww. This one really hit home. I had pet chickens too. Theyre so smart and warm hearted. They'll defend you too like dogs. My siblings and I would fake a fight and there's the rooster jumping in trying to defend me.

Seeing the rooster run to his friend is exciting. You can tell he's excited

My first pet was a rooster. I was in my 2nd grade back then. On my way back from school, he used to rush to me making this special sound and we hug each other for a while. He taught me the genuinity of LOVE. I miss him.

I'm living just off of my university campus, but my parents live a town over. They adopted this rooster who was living in an abandoned house, named him Elvis. Elvis is the biggest Cuddle bug of a chicken. I get out of my car and he comes up to me and starts dancin' and trying to give me food like i'm a hen. I pick him up and pet him and he passes out in my arms. Anyone else comes by and he becomes a guard chicken. We're HIS people! No one messes with HIS people! Not even the mail man. XD

Frog's animal whisperer is so amazing! That's so cool that all animals love her like that! And she's so adorable, so why wouldn't every animal love her. I have never seen a rooster do that before - Frog's definitely unique and wonderful.

Almost all animals have emotions, but those are not as deep as human emotions. Animals either love you or not. Humans can love you while hating you and it can get even much more complex.

It is like you are bitching about the clouds because of them raining. Don't you think that nature knows what it is doing and that our intelligence to to "bad things" is somehow calculated by mother nature and that we wouldn't be able to do such things if we are supposed to live like animals?

This is like my best friend and her duck. My friend even mimicks the duck's noices and the duck reacts but tries to outdo her in volume. The duck follows her everywhere and when it hears her truck coming up the dirt road it will run to her. It also snuggles up to her just about everytime she sits. She named the duck Merle.
