You’ve probably seen the crazy shallow water capability of the Roost mud prop on the lightweight 1342 with the 23 EFI Mud Buddy Mini. As impressive at that little rig is, surely it must be cheating to use such a small rig! Wrong!!! Watch this Excel 1854 (.125” hull) with Mud Buddy HDR 5000 do the EXACT SAME THING!!!! You might not have believed it if you hadn’t seen it for yourself.

At the 4200 ft elevation where this was filmed, that boat will hold 31.5 mph.

No. That’s the south end of Harold Crane where gets super shallow.
