@@jaxonsmith5575 Pretty much this. The game takes a lot after Papers Please, but doesn't do enough to establish itself. Papers Please had you work faster to get more money and it was crucial so that you could support your family. This game does nothing to tell the players its different from that. And we're not really told about the results of our actions until the end -- which again, Papers Please does a good job of telling you quickly if you messed up.

​@FreshSakuya I mean...the fact that it is not Papers, Please nor is it made by the same developer should be enough to tell you that you shouldn't treat it as Papers, Please. Why would a game have to explicitly tell you that you shouldn't follow the instructions of a completely different game? It has its own tutorial to tell you how to play. The game explains to you that you only get to know how you did at the end of the day. It's not bad game design that you're too impatient to play an entire round; this is just not your kind of game.

You were explicitly not supposed to let people in since it was secured lab and they needed to swipe in. So many dorks would freaking *knock* on the door or give me weird looks for ignoring folks knocking. No matter how many times I explained they aren't allowed in without their ID and I'm not allowed to open it for people, knocking. They could have a _chainsaw_ , then what?

I like to imagine by "cleaning protocol" they mean the guy just chases them out of the building with a broom.

I did, top 2 results were shitty TikTok pages of videos relating to the game lol. Also Arin was right the very first time he encountered the dude (in previous video), but didn't input the scientific name.

“Were much better at this now, we know what we’re doing this time” *immediately lets in someone without a date on their ID*

Arin started doubting if the people he was calling was telling the truth while staring at a guy who didn't have his paper stamped, didn't give his ID, and they had already dealt with 1 doppelganger trying to be that guy by calling it in earlier. Sometimes he picks the weirdest moments to start thinking that there's an unreliable narrator out of nowhere

29:34 unequivocally the BEST moments on GG are when Dan has to leave for extremely short periods of time. The sarcastic mom energy Dan has when he says "k, can you hold down the fort for *30 seconds?*" immediately followed by Arin VERY offendedly going "Yeah, I fuckin think I can handle a little something without chu" followed, again, immediately by "I love-- what? wait, don't go... wait.. he's gone..."

If someone is not on the list, then they are more likely to be a doppleganger and calling the apartment to confirm can come in big.

It always makes me rlly happy when they take games like this a little more seriously, go slow and thorough, and enjoy things with it like. I ADORE these ones :333 happy to see them taking another stab

That AMC thing still plays in theaters, I much prefer this version though.

As someone who works check in at a hotel, I can 100% confirm the forgetting IDs is accurate. I will say to everyone as they come up "can I get your ID and a CC?" And everyone still has to dig for it even though they just heard me ask everyone ahead of them in line and even though you have to have it at every single hotel ever. What's crazy too is that some of these people are regulars and every single stay they forget to have their ID and CC out

I get worried every time they immediately burn someone instead of using the form to question the person's appearance. Knowing this game, it would not surprise me if some guy had his nose blown off in an accident and forgot to update his government profile after the surgery or something similar.

In case you haven't realized, the list is for residents who planned to leave the complex. If they're not on the list it means they haven't left/left in a hurry. As well, give the obvious dopplegangers a grilling for funny dialogue

That intro is the most high budget thing I've seen on youtube in a long time and I love it!
