Just as I was starting to forget how to play D&D like a big ol' badass, Hank'rin returns!

No fancy HD camera. No swish graphics. Pure gold still. Content is king...and this ol bad ass has it in spades

I just gotta take a moment to thank you! I discovered drunkens and dragons last week and I've been watching it as I design my first home brew. I had 40+ pages of handwritten notes and maps. After taking your advice, I threw them all in a drawer for later use. Next week I've got 4-6 people coming over and we're starting a 5e campaign. Only one player and myself have any role playing experience. I ended up using your side view DM note book technique and created a awesome tier one under dark dungeon crawl. No character backgrounds, no campaign history. I accomplished more in the last 3 days since I discovered drunkens and dragons than I did in the 2 months prior. I feel like, thanks to your advice, I have created a fantastic and immersive world that I'm really excited to share with my friends who are complete rpg newbs. You're awesome!!! Thanks so much for doing what you're doing!!!

I think the patrol mechanic is very interesting. Especially if you used the 1d4 to determine the number of patrol guards.

Room design is the best part of your channel. I LOVE ROOM DESIGN. You're the bomb Hankerin.

I've been aware of your channel for a while but never watched any of your vids but the one I first watched (The Viking in a sci-fi setting) was great so started watching more and more and gotta say, you give me a lot of ideas for my own story. Sorry to hear you lost your journal but it looks like you got yourself a pretty sweet new tome filled with opportunidad.

What if you made a new campaign,same story, but each pc gets another party member to control, but they can’t go through other dimensions, and when they are completely done with a dimension, before they jump the dimension, the other party members get brutally murdered by (natural selection, ambush, natural disasters, ect.)? The other party members can be customized to the level number would be for the pc’s.

The storyline has been fascinating in its detail since the beginning. You have really been writing your 'Lord of the Rings' for a few years now! If you were to write it as a series, I think your subscribers would pay to read the details that got the crew through those many and dangerous 'rooms', even already knowing the outcome so far. Granted it would be a lotta pages at this point, but I'd definitely buy it! More coffee, less sleep!
