Rookie Motorcycle Mechanic Toolbox Tour! (Snap-On, Matco, Cornwell, Milwaukee, Harbor Freight)

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Heres a quick video about my tools as a moto mechanic! Ive only been wrenching on bikes "professionally" for about 8 months but I thought I would share my tool set up thus far. Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!!!

Thank you! Yeah man I can’t imagine going to the debt some guys go into with the trucks. Especially the tool boxes. Luckily I have good experienced guys around me to give me advice on what is worth spending up on and what’s really just not. And after all it’s the tools that make you money not the box.

@@kennywood1678 Your skills and knowledge are even more important than the tools. You might lose you tools someday from fire, theft, or flood. Those tools can be replaced, but your experience cannot.

Keep up the drive! Being new to any industry especially bikes can be daunting. Just remember every mistake is a learning experience. Nice tools are very important and you’ve got a lot of bases covered with good tools but the most important tool is to keep learning.

Thank you for the kind words! And yes I agree 100%! I’ve already learned so much at this point and I have good guys around me that keep me in line and help me out whenever a mistake is made or if I need help. I do my best to learn all I can from not the best situations. As you know mistakes are bound to happen! I appreciate the comment!

I wish you the best sir! Keep up your positive attitude for sure!!! You've got some really nice tools for being new in the industry. I really like that you got the us general & milwaukee box's and not tool truck box's! There nice but they just hold tools! Tools that you use a lot or ones you break replace them with quality one's. Be honest with your customers. Appreciate the guys taking the time to teach you. Your doing awesome and congratulations!!

And exactly the box doesn’t make me the money!! Very true man I will keep all those things in mind. I’ve always tried to only spend up on the all day everyday kind of tools that I depend on. You are really nicely set up for a first year mechanic. Didn’t see a T70 torx socket in your stuff. If you ever work on newer Harley primary components, you will need that for the crank. You won’t use it often but you NEED it when you need it. I bought a cheap Carlyle brand T70 from Napa for about 10 bucks. No need to spend big money on a socket you will rarely use.

I have a snappy 27mm myself, non ratchet tho.. you got a good setup going for being 8 months in. I was reading some of the other comments, & it’s nice that you got seasoned guys to help walk you thru that type of stuff. Anyways take care bro! 🤙🏻
