the visuals are so beautiful to me, the 90's were the best years !

One of my stand-out Glastonbury moments ever was in 2000 watching Roni Size perform this, with Onallee's voice haunting across the crowd. Still sends shivers even 20+ ytears later.

I seen roni size and reprazent at a festival in the late 90s Edinburgh, carl cox pllayed twicee If I remember correctly , hazy daze ! the chemcal brothers played , mr c from the shamen done a set all sorts of djs were at it but seeing roni size doing his shit blew the nuts off me hahah❤

Still listening it on full volume in my car. Think will do same in next 20 years

Same here !

I've always alled Roni Size's music "patient drum and bass". It's never in a rush to go where it goes, it just flows niiiiicely and shows its musical progression on a near-intuitive level.

what I also like is the sci-fi/spy/alien/tecchy overall ambient that surrounded this album AND its videos... "Brown paper bag" video for fuck sake. big big quality stuff.

Seen at "Les toutes du rock" at Saint Malo.. Magic...🌟🌌 Masterclass ! One of tke best concert i've seen...with...Death in Vegas...🤩😍 and M83...in the same festival !!! In 2000...

When this music came out it felt like the edge of some brand new revelation about beats and style....

@@drifter402 people moved on the (dub sound kept evolving though) - reggae dub fused to detroit techno/house in England to become jungle then drum and bass and then eventually this experimentation became dubstep - there is a cool doc video about this on you tube..

Onallee on this was wicked... she never really gets much mention for her work, but she was awesome. Saw her live playing with Breakbeat Era the first opening night of Fabric 1999.

This is crazy good. Never heard Roni before. It's like his subsonic drums are staccato bass guitar so smooth and round. Someone wrote never in a hurry to get somewhere. So aptly put.

This reminds me of good times back in the days. Riding around in my car with friends to kill time.

Another example of an underground genre having more musical integrity and talent than what was promoted as "popular and good" in their day. Proof the general population is told what to like rather than having a real chance to search or have a bigger range of music to love. Blessed are the ears of the open

I remember this track was included on one of the "compilation discs" which I got sticked to some computer games magazine somewhere in 90s. Listened to the CD a lot... as a young teenager, many years before I became a real DnB fan (and DJ as well...) somehwere around 2005 or so.

Have no idea how I landed in the D&B section of youtube, but I'm sure glad I did. I can't remember the last time I heard this song, it's beautifully done all around!

I knew about Roni Size from Kruder & Dorfmeister's K&D Sessions remix in 98 it was a mesmerizing sound back then and it still sounds fresh. Still, the thing that strikes me the most is the capability of K&D to pick songs that are already perfect and send them to another dimension.

This is my fav tune.

The vibe of this video is ice cool.
