I don't think she threw a tantrum and quit. I think the injuries she received were soo immense that she had to stop or risk significant damage. That beating Holly gave her, she needed facial reconstruction and suffered major damage to her body and neck, possibly even her spine after that kick and subsequent fall to the ground. Then Amanda thoroughly bashed her. You can only withstand soo much injury. I think she had no other choice but to quit or else suffer permanent debilitating damage...possibly even being crippled.

@@trackflo5085 It wasn't just a bad day, the big issue was arrogance, Ronda thought her striking was good enough to compete with Holly but Holly's striking was in a different league. If Ronda had relied on her advantage in grappling she would have had a chance but she wanted to prove she could out-strike one of the best strikers in the UFC and she paid the price. Miesha won by submission because she knew that was the way to beat Holly, who at the time, was still weak in her ground game, it's come a long way and I believe if she had the skill level she has now when she fought Miesha, she would have won the fight. Unfortunately Holly is out of her prime now, if she had her current skill level but was still in her prime, she'd have the belt.

In professional fighting, what may seem like intense rivalries is often a well-crafted show for TV. Behind the scenes, many fighters share mutual respect and camaraderie. It's strictly business-win or lose, stepping into the pro arena is an achievement in itself. No shame in the game; these fighters are far from punks, showcasing skill and sportsmanship on a grand stage.@@yoshimontana4398

It's why I lost respect for her and saw the whole WWE thing as a complete cop out. She made her career beating up fighters who were not on the same level as her and when she eventually came up against fighters who better than her she did not see it as a challenge to improve her own skills and become better. She saw it as her time to retreat and go to the WWE where the outcomes of the fights are predetermined. It's a classic playground bully scenario.

@@thamsanqasofika3432 - I don't know if that's true. I recently heard Joe Rogan talking about getting out of mixed martial arts because he said the longer you're in it the better the chance of you getting a permanent disabling injury or trauma to the brain, and who needs that? It doesn't matter how much you train to "improve her own skills and become better" Too many shots from your opponent in the right places and you're gimped up physically or mentally for life. I think she was smart to get out before she was seriously injured. It's just my opinion but I believe learning MMA techniques are fine for self defense and staying in shape but prize fighting should be banned.

THE "MIXED MARTIAL ARTS" (and their long-term/lifelong after effects) and in brutally honest opinion, I also strongly believe that MMA skills/moves/techniques should be strictly taught/learned FOR A "SELF-DEFENCE PURPOSE" ONLY BUT using it as a mean for prize winning should be banned (Both for Men & Women) NO MATTER WHAT, I mean exactly who invented this hotchpotch/mishmash of all the fighting styles to make a living out of it? If you don't like professional wrestling then that's fine, but to disrespect the business because you are ignorant is not fine. Professional wrestling takes a lot of skill, time and commitment. You have many people who don't make it and you have professional fighters who try their hand at it and fail. Real fighting does take skill but that doesn't mean wrestling doesn't take skill. And Ronda proves that point even more cus she did join the WWE and she couldn't hack it there. Her promo skills were trash and she put on bad matches, even when the company strapped the rocket to her back.

Remember folks, grappling can help you subdue, asphyxiate, fold or break another person but it can't protect your face and brain from blunt force trauma. Food for thought in case you pick a fight with someone with lightning quick, cast-iron hands. Or feet.

Amazing how the sport gave her so much, and she soaked all that in for all it was worth while on top. Commercials, movies, endorsements, huge fight purses etc.. But as soon as she lost she shunned all the media and the fans. The people that made her famous and rich suddenly she had no time for anymore.. You could see from this video she refused more than once to even answer a question about losing from the media.. To say that Ronda was both a bully and a brat is a massive understatement..

Love her or hate her, every single female fighter in the UFC owes Rhonda a bit of gratitude. She owes the sport nothing.

@@bentleyfonsworth9604 As I explained she owed the fans and the media more than something. She owed them a ton.. They made her a star and very rich. As soon as she lost she basically told everyone to "Piss off".

@@bentleyfonsworth9604CUT THIS CRAP ALRIGHT? CUZ I'm tired of listening people saying Ronda was a trailblazer Ronda was a pioneer of Women's MMA, Ronda opened the doors for ladies, Ronda did this Ronda did that, RONDA RONDA RONDA STOP IT!! This ain't a bias/hatred, envy/jealousy OKAY? BECAUSE Nobody here's saying what Gina Carano did for women in combat sports, she was the first woman one who stepped into the female professional fighting in 2006 (IF I REMEMBERED CORRECTLY) by making her way through women's Muay-Thai, Western Boxing & Kickboxing (followed by pro MMA) and kicked some very serious butts, at a time when Rousey was only competing in Judo tournaments before transitioning herself into the MMA via Strikeforce between year 2010-11.

Admittedly, it took me some time to understand how manipulative, orchestrated and produced these MMA’s events actually are. Rousey played her part in the beginning, but it was clear that her demise was destined, which only indicated how hyped up she was, despite her relative inferiority to other fighters.

I like the clip where Ronda says that she isn't going to get knocked out with a head kick. Then, KABBOOOOOM!!!
