It was a lovely time when people weren't offended over every little thing. The scene where Bernie grabs the reporter and kisses her because he's so overjoyed that William and Anna will be together and the reporter completely understands his motive is just beautiful. Same here I was around 18 when this came out damn proud to be 90’s teen was second greatest decade after 60’s tge second summer of love we called it, truly felt like summer everyday when not at work if I wasn’t out clubbing or social clubs with epic jukeboxes you’d see me dressed fine with Bud ice in my hand I even used the Bud ice bottles as candle stick holders as had ice design on the bottle man I miss the 90’s epic epic epic music that the manic street preachers sing about in Everything Must Go they basically apologise to this generation saying we’ve hit the very top of the peak for epic music leaving nothing else great that can be written as we took the 60’s & 79’s music and made it better, I was in a fkn epic band called Acquiesce we were offered a record contract I will never ever forget that day taking my demo album into a studio having them hear it and us playing 4 of the songs I’d written on it, but 2 if our band mates coukd not handle idea of fame, I’d poured my heart, soul, every fkn but of me into that album I still have and still sounds like a masterpiece but t bass guitarist and lead guitarist just wanted to be local club band and wanted to be nurses which they did become but wow if they’d had balls to go through with record contract (as already had half of second album written) how very different my life wind be, I did get to become a successful songwriter writing ton of top tunes in early 00’s that most have heard , so got my dream of being a songwriter I taught myself guitar acoustic/electric both lead and rhythm, Bass guitar, Harmonica & piano, took king time to learn piano, but dream was to have band signed and nearly were until 2 walked away because of fame, I always said to them why do you think I git a band together not just for bloody local clubs 😂 😂 😂. The 90’s taught you how to write top notch tunes I love playing around with C chord on both guitar and piano you get some stunning love ballads from it. But I seriously miss movies like Notting Hill, my best friend’s wedding etc. seriously miss the music because today you have no competition so no competition no great music, just females either taking top notch 90’s tubes slowing them down and singing them depressing or screaming them as they can’t sing properly I had a singer with a voice you get once in a lifetime he had an ego though massive ego but who wouldn’t with a voice like he had with top notch indie rock tunes I wrote, the 90’s will never be beat, you can’t even come close to it, we had everything from jndie to prog to pop to epic epic race and garage dance, illegal races etc. it was pure magic ut was history I knew there was something special abt 90’s didn’t realise just how historic it would become you couldn’t pick an album to buy as every single album was epic magic, and the bands were coming out with better and better music it was near impossible to pick an album now you just bypass albums as no indie no prog No britpop nothing we had it all seeing oasis at knevworth 1996 was greatest moment of my life when they were my band not everyone else’s 😂 the rivalry between blur and oasis was great creating epic music to beat each other, then you had ocean colour scene, Travis, lightning seeds, cast, supergrass, lighthouse family, seahorses, Jamiroquai, The Corrs, The Cranberries, Garbage, Catatonia, Space, Paul Weller, blur, Eternal, All Saints, manic street preachers, Radiohead, Stereophonics, Massive attack, Enya, Sash, Ultre Nate, the Tamperer ft Maya, fat les, b, b, e. Faithless, I could go on and on Death In Vegas, the bands we had will never be compared to, never be beat tgey knew they were creating history, Run DMC, Beastie Boys, just pure magic and Seattle sound as in REM, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, then Boyzone to Five was just magic something for everyone Celine Dion, I miss it so much I love Lightning seeds new stuff and blurs new stuff fkn great really shows this generation up when a band from 27 yrs ago comes back and writes better tunes than anyone from this generation they’ve forgot harmonies, melody, overdubbing, chorus, choirs, backing vocals they’ve all hone out the window it’s all fkn Ed Sheeran crap which is so fkn easy to write a 12 ye old could write it it’s simple , it is honestly it’s really easy to write songs Ed Sheeran writes and sings they’re pathetic and not very memorable, 90’s teen and damn proud to be singing along with everyone in club when don’t look back in anger would come on jukebox that was 99’s 90’s girls were stunning and fantastic as well, fkn stunning I should know I’m getting married to one next year in April, 90’s forever

This is still my favorite romcom movie. I was really young when this movie came out. The power of gentleness and subtlety in romance is such an underrated trait, but this movie displayed it perfectly. That's why I still love it plus Julia Roberts and her smile is another one.

There are many, MANY excellent romantic comedies, but for my money, this is the BEST. Hugh and Julia are wonderful as is the supporting cast and the music. I can watch this over and over, and never grow tired of it. It makes me happy.

I have to say this. I enjoyed this film and loved the songs. This song reminds me of my Dad. The lyrics are so meaningful and I love it immensely. My father passed away suddenly on February 22, 2018. I was with him that day. He is the only man in my life, I have ever loved unconditionally. I miss him so much. My prayer would be to be married to someone East Asian or caucasian, someone proper, strong, tall, fair, traditional and educated. Someone that my father would respect and value and know he would be good for me. Thank you for this song.
