Ronaldo NEVER won an International Golden Ball in EURO/World Cup , NEVER reached a World Cup final , NEVER scored or assisted in knockout stages of World Cup. This is not about preference , these are facts. Messi is the undisputed GOAT.

@@draza9000 Ronaldo has most international goals of all time and was crucial in Portugal winning its first Major trophy in history, the Euros. Also won the Nations League with them and Golden Boot in Euros. Also, Argentina and Portugal have not been at the same level for most of the years that Ronaldo and Messi have played with them. Argentina has been better.

@@grigorylli4964 Ronaldo has more international goals of all time simply beacuse he plays EURO/WC qualifiers against countries like Luxembourg,Latvia,FaroeIsland,Estonia etc. Messi scored 5 goals in 1 game against Estonia in a friendly match, now imagine how many he would have scored if he was facing these countries in qualifiers for 15+ years. If we look things by goals only THEN Lukaku and Lewandowski are better than Maradona and Pele in International level. I dont like that excuse beacuse Portugal had better players than Argentina in WC 2022. Ronaldo is definitely top 3 behind Pele and Messi.

@@draza9000 Ronaldo has most goals in the history of the Champions League as well as most knockout goals. The level of the teams there is best in the world. Ronaldo's and Messi's personal numbers are way better than Maradonas and Peles. Maradona and Pele just have more World Cups which is because they were playing with the best teams Brazil and Argentina.

All the 0 ball knowledge penaldo fans D riding him. Hes better athletically but messi is a way more complete player when it comes to stats, skill and accolades

Messi whilst being far better at creating chances and linking play in the midfield, actually has a better goal per game ratio than Ronaldo. Basically beats Ronaldo at what he does best. Media created the debate for the drama of the rivalry but Messi has run off with it, Ronaldos basically got Portuguese and Muslims on his side rn and that's because he's sucked up to the arabs since retiring.
