My favourite player of all time! Wish i could see him play all over again. What a joy to watch!

*Summary of how Dinho was during his career…* 1998-2003 : Young Dinho who can dribble a defense without effort, extremely agile and fit, some great passing skills, very decisive in the right moments in Brazil and in club. 2003-2005 : Best version of Magicdinho, unreal passing, beautiful finish in the big matches, limitless talent, still fit enough for destroying an entire defense easily, still important in the right moments whatever if it’s in Brazil or in club. 2005-2006 : A less fit Dinho, his dribbling level decreased but still impressive skills, had better teammates than the previous years so his passing skills worked very well because there was more chemistry compared to the previous years so he could easily carried Barcelona in the UCL 2006 and LaLiga but wasn’t the same with Brazil. 2006-2007 and years later : A totally different Dinho, heavier, more in the passing less in the dribbling who can rarely destroy an entire defense but still did amazing shows but unfortunately it’s not in the most important matches like before…

You forgot to mention 1997 when he triumphed at continental and world level with the national under-17 team. Furthermore, in 2013 he won the Copa Libertadores which is certainly not easy to conquer.

For me he is the reason I fell in-love with the beautiful game. Had he spent more time preparing his mind and body and not just his spirit we would have had a decade of this. For me his best 3 years are better than anyones ever. What make Messi and Ronaldo better overall is that they spent more time in their primes. Almost 20 years of those 2 incredible players, we really only had maybe 5 years of prime Ronaldinho. What could have been.

The six biggest trophies that a Brazilian can dream of winning. I`ve watched, loved and played football all my life. At his peak he was a class above everyone - the best ever.

'probably the best Barca player' ?? He made the likes of Gatuso, Nesta, Gerard, Maldini look average at best.... and these were the elite defenders at the time.

Well, if you look at the years 2002-2005 (especially 2003-2005), you can see he was a player with a limitless talent, unreal passes, outrageous dribbling skills who are very effective, fast, agile, beautiful winning goals but very important in the big matches, look at his performance against England in the WC 2002 he almost single-handedly saved Brazil with an assist and an absurd free-kick also in the match against Osasuna Away in 03/04 he scored a beautiful winning goal, did an amazing performance against Real Sociedad in his birthday with a last minute winning free-kick, in LaLiga 04/05 he completely humiliated without effort the Galacticos in the whole match at Camp Nou and the UCL 2005 with the last minute winning goal against Milan, his goal against Chelsea that gave hope for Barcelona, not every player can be effective by playing beautifully like Dinho. I think if he maintained this level until the 2010 WC he would have been without a shadow of doubt the best of all times.
