Ron's Lehigh River Valley-10- Lehigh Gap-Wind Gap-Delaware Water Gap

Ron shares more pictures from his extensive collection, this time in the general area of the Appalachian Trail along the Blue Ridge Mountains from the Delaware Water Gap, through Wind Gap, and ending in the area of the Lehigh Gap. As usual, Ron will take us on many side trips that relate to topics of discussion in the video. He ends this with some very long exposure night photography he took in scenic places across America.

Another incredible video with amazing historical photos that tell a comprehensive story of the industrial history of this part of the Lehigh. Interesting to see if passenger trains do actually come back to Delaware Water Gap and the Lackawanna Cutoff? I am looking forward to the next instalment. Thanks again.

Hi Ron. Just a small correction. When you speak of the railroad on the eastern shore of the Delaware at the Gap it is the NYS&W. The NYS&W reached Stroudsburg via this route in 1880. 14 years later the WB&E was constructed by the NYS&W westward from Stroudsburg.
