No one is talking about how he effectively shields the ball with his body. Lavia is press resistant.

What a machine, Liverpool really got themselves to blame

Caceido is a power house and Lavia is a power factory. If we can get this two oiled up we should have a fortress. One thing i see different is the way how Chelsea running like they are on drugs....liverpool could not cope with the intensity which is strange.

Chelsea spent a lot in young talents but they almost completed their full new foundation of players within just a year. Basically Chelsea won't need to buy big names again in the next 8 years. That's investment! And if Lavia's caliber is worth 60mil today, imagine a proper big name players in upcoming years ahead. Smart Chelsea.

Just tweaking here & there but yeah, talent wise, Chelsea are stacked though they still need another wordclass striker. Should sign Randal Kolo Muani since Nkunku is injured,, 3 strikers is the safest bet for Chelsea because they need goal. That would be a fire frontline🙆🏾‍♂️🙏🏽💙

Well there is a clear strategy in these transfers going for the best young talents over big names. Hope they’ll still sell Lukaku, Ziyech, Hudson-Odoi + Cucurella to make some money back on the crazy signings but definitely a proper restart!

Lavia is no doubt good but as we already have Caicedo as a DM, Lavia will probably play little above. So won't it hamper Carney's place in first 11??? Carney has been good since the pre season, I hope this signing doesn't hamper his confidence.

@Infernius I don't have a dog in the fight. I just think he's mad to go to Chelsea when he'll be about 5th in the pecking order come January when scattergun Boehly decides he wants someone else. I get the 8 year deals means he is guaranteed long term money for those Carling Cup games he'll be playing but if he had anything about him he'd go to a Spurs/Liverpool/whoever to potentially be a major player.

Chelsea have a bunch of good individuals but absolutely no identity... That has never proven successful in any sport.
