Despite the narrow win, the Roman Gods were watching....and they were ashamed of Pompey's Rome's play.

I like to think of my army as a slug; Stretch out to attack, constrict your rear line to reinforce, repeat.

How in the hell did that work out like it did, I have no idea, but what I do know is that I was on the edge of my seat the whole fight! Thanks Joe!

I was there nearing the end of this battle for sure!

from memory pompeii's rome has no archers and attacking that corner solo is always a suicide mission but credit to him for trying and getting close. was a good battle, those falx men used efficiently would've turned the tide.

A must see for sure ! 4 units of archers stacked up is not only limiting the shooting of the present archers but its also a nice target for enemy catapuld or giant ballista ;-) I would never stack up anny unit for this reason . 1 flaming rock could take out 25 soldiers when there stacked up .... Thanks for posting this amusing battle . both teams did verry well !

Was a hard fought battle all the way. Thanks for covering this Joe, it was my first battle with Getae and I learn a lot from your commentary so this is really helpful. Again thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

Great battle, all players did well but "there can be only one" thanks JO loved it

Honestly I dont knw why Roman units dont have shield wall formation since the Romans were prob one of the most disciplined armies that were trained to fight in formations incorporating their shields with the gladius

I think I've seen this replay... I think Pompeii's Rome doesn't move up all the way to the end and that's it for him

Sorry I was mistaken there was another video with the same attacking factions and half of the other rome army just never got back involved... This one was a good one🎉
