First is the Papal basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Second one is San Giovanni in Laterano, first christian basilica ever built, by emperor Constantinus around 330 a.D. Behind, the oldest baptistery in the world. The big palace at its side is the seat of the Pope's Vicar.
