Hearing the pronunciation put a smile on my face. I recommend driving trough mountains, driving on transfagarasan and transrarau. Visiting the aforementioned castles including the citadels of Brasov and Suceava and the painted monasteries of Putna, Sucevita, Moldovita and Voronet. The Black Sea shores are not the world’s cheapest nor the cleanest but they are a wonder in the making. Also u can find a lot of culture intertwined with a turbulent history. Romanians take pride in their ancestors and their struggle to survive big empires formed around them. As an outsider you may find romanians being welcoming, as a romanian you may find this country as a big jewel full of incompetents who cannot be trusted.

Thank you for your insight. It is true that every nation looks at its own country and people from a different perspective. How would you describe your gastronomy as a local? (We loved homemade Sarmale..)
