hey guys, how do we strigger the Chi Bi events while playing Zhao Yun in 207?

wow that's still pretty good, it shows that it can be done I guess. Idk all of the things that throw it off, but I know employing the wrong people and taking the wrong territory does. Lol Liu Bei would be hard because he moves around so much so you can't just suck up territory. If you get stuck at some point in the early going, try visiting Xuchang (or w/e cao cao is) because I found that sometimes triggers stubborn events.

Yes, it does. Liu Bei's force is on the offensive, and the yellow turbans on the defensive. In my experience, You'll get killed by just focusing on bringingdown the gate. It's a battle to take ping yuan from the yellow turbans. Which we all know, Ping Yuan is the first base of Liu Bei. Doubt they will come out, no one on the three can make them come out.

Try Kung Suan Dao(may not accurate spelling), the one in light purple on the map, he has relatives called Kung Suan Hong and Kung Suan Kung, a single city at the right hand corner, right next to the brown Kung Suan Jan. Facing Kung Suan Jan might be tough to fight(homefront style), you may finish up all money to make troops, and end of too few mens(only 10k maybe) to fight along, but if you catch a good moment, you may have chance to win, step over Kung Suan Jan, and face a stronger one: Yuan Siu. Kung Suan Dao is one of the fast game officer, you must start extreme fast, build troops and attack, choose your steps wisely.

I see. You won't get rushed, For me i played it like building up my army on one place then i will attack a city and transfer resources to my captured city. Because you'll never know they might attack you again maybe 1-3 months span. Once you lose a city and regain it you have to repair gates, produce your army again or transfer your army again to the city. For me best game ever. :) I'm still playing it now.

Why did you choose Zhuge Liang when you can't even debate!

He didn't even know that Refute is meant to be kept to block enemy skills, not picked. 😂

This game, if you start attack others in the very beginning, it's quite easy, cities start with few thousands to ten thousands troops, while they are splited into four or five team, which means you only need to kill a thousand or two to finish a whole team. The most critical is building up your own forces very quick, mostly in Calvary, which has most base power. I also recommend the Archer Calvary, which is difficult to accuire, only get from recruiting some special officers, that these officers have 8000 or 7000 of this unit with them, if you recruit them the troops follow. This unit is fast, strong in calvary attack and bow attack, but need some luck. Of course it is possible to get 100 teams of it in the later of game, when you develop up those cities.

Have you ever managed to do kongming's entire path in one play through starting from his first scenario?

Liu Bei's first scene is so hard it's when you have to fight the yellow turbans with your rouge force of 3000 men fighting against 10,000 or more. You have no chance of winning, if you serve Liu Yan, Guan Yu & Zhang Fei will not follow you. I just don't know where to go. You're right, employing the wrong people, taking bases you shoudn't take will destroy the scenario.

I have played this game for many years and done a lot but does anyone know how I can trigger when Zhang Song and Fa Zheng invite Liu Bei to come to Shu? It has to be in this scenario but I never get passed Ma Chaos stuff in the events.

@Haman Karn liu bei force must have jiang xia, jiang ling, wu ling, chang sa ling ling, gui yang & recruit pang tong(funny thing Liu Bei sometimes refuse it -D) then u set. also recruit huang zhong if u want to unlock battle of han zhong scene this one kind of difficult cuz if he refuse to join u when u capture chang sa or if u not fast enough to get him he would go MIA

You can use anyone even if it's not a recommended officer. As far the the question of you want to play as Ma Chao, yes, you can use him as he serves his father together with his brothers. The problem is there's not a force that you will oppose you when it comes to historical views. Meaning, until CaoCao attacks the west you won't get attacked. But if you play it on your own, you can wage war and Shu might not appear after they lost Xia Pi & Xiao Pei.

In ROTK X and XI the beginner mode is the best. In XI everyone starts from scratch. You start with you're own base you have to build farms & markets to training horses and producing weapons. Same goes to ROTK X but the difference is ROTK X is officer based game and XI is Force/Sovereign based game. XI has less events and more battles because you won't have to command like 'we go to battle with another force' just command an officer to go out with weapons and he/she is ready to fight.

I think yes, you will be invited to join and continue as a Wei vassal. Start with Liu Bei in the Yellow Turban's scenario, it will give you a headache. :))

I am currently playing Romance of the Three Kingdoms 11 and it's my first time to play again the series since I've stopped playing RoTK VI in my PS1, and it seems to me that this RoTK 10 is really very different from RoTK VI and ToTK XI. Based from my observation on your video, Is really RoTK 10 is more of a character-based Role Playing Game rather than a "command and conquer" style of game?

@condorX2 for me it's even more boring n tiring to manage whole army when it's got large. in this game u can become city prefect= managing one city, viceroy= several cities, or ruler= entire army

I don't know about the age, but i think they start at age 20 and up before they can join the army or being introduced. Like you can't used Sun Quan if you havent reached the certain time. It won't cripple your game.

I'm recommending you to a scenario that you will have a headache. I will give you a preview of that scenario. It's like Liu Bei have a private army against the yellow turbans, since it's a private army it is small and inexperienced. So you can't beat the yellow turbans and can't take towns from prefects of surrounding cities. The catch is, you cannot disband you're private army or you'll fame will drop to 1.

Not all but yes there are some officers that have unique events. But not as like 5:30 more like 0:47 of my video. The events are hidden so you have to unlock it by finding it. The timeline is important, like you can't assasinate Dong Zhuo with CaoCao if you have pass the time it happened. Yes, maybe you need to play the recommended scenarios to see it, and you have to do it precisely.

Officers that are serving at a city. Because there are officers who don't serve any ruler just wandering across china. Start with any Wu vassals, they are serving Sun Jian on the yellow turbans scenario. they have high stats so they can perform well when ordered by Sun Jian. Huang Gai or Cheng Pu or Zhu Zhi.

The turtling part won't work if you're surrounded by enemy territories. Being attacked by many force at the same time will be hard. The game will not end if you not take every city in china. :)) But nothing is wrong by just sitting around building your army,producing weapons and horses. For me i recommend you play by not following the events, just beat the hell up the other forces. As soon as you're finished, i bet you'll be wanna do it historically, which is hard to follow. :)

Not all, only certain characters have events like, but you will be notified every turn by different events happening. I played ROTK X and XI, i can say XI was easy. I like about these games is one wrong move even if employing officers that you shoudn't have or taking bases so early will put the game out of course. Forces will act on their own and will not act on historical story. In this video it didn't have the war phase because i'm following Zhuge Liang's path.

No, first time i played i reached the hanzong scene but i had too many errors. But the second time which is this video is more precise than the first one i played. I'm more concerned on how to start Liu Bei's story, it's so hard, i had a fever the next day.

It is, so i play and do what is needed to stay on that path and play it again to record it.

I know it is 8 yo video, but the debates are painful to watch.. First you did not use Incite vs Zhang Zhao, which would be pretty much an auto win. And vs Zhou Yu you did not use Awe first turn (which deals damage over time and would keep you alive) oh man

Wow and it's a siege battle, that sucks XD I'd focus on just scaling the walls and killing the commander somehow. Maybe with archers? Idk there's got to be some way to get it done.

Hmm...does losing the battle lose the scenario? Maybe you don't have to win. Are you on the defensive in that battle? If so you could wait them out, otherwise the best thing to try to do in order to beat them would be to spam fire attacks or ambushes.

Play as a officer that has a base until you grasp how the game works. Later on if you have exp you may try the sovereigns like Cao Cao,Liu Bei,Ding Yuan,Yuan Shu,Yuan Shao,Ma Teng,Liu Biao and others. Just go to the government and let them dictate what you will do, don't do what i did in this video that i'm ignoring what i'm supposed to do. :))

how do u make the cao cao invasion of Jing trigger. Cao cao just keeps invading Xin Ye and kicking Liu Beis ass. Im playing as an officer under liu bei.

@IShallNotSubmit don't play as liu bei's officer yet until zhuge liang enter cutscene then u can enter liu bei force n get amazing chang ban scene it's more awesome if play as cao's officer "view" then enter liu bei's side immedietly after cutscene over

I played as Zhao Yun to get Chang Ban animated event. During gameplay, avoid doing domestic duties that consume time like increasing farms/trades/techs/etc, just choose to recruit soldiers. That consumes times, too, but you'll need them to win the "Eight Gates" battle against Cao Ren. If there's no option to recruit soldiers, don't do any duties at all, just enter and exit the castle over and over to trigger multiple events, from Eight Gates battle to Chang Ban. If you do right, the Chang Ban event will eventually be triggered and you'll end up in Jiang Xia. You also probably need to recruit Xu Shu before the Eight Gates battle, either recruit him manually or by talking to Sima Hui (He should be in one of the cities in Jing), I don't really remember. In one of my playthroughs, Xu Shu is already in Liu Bei's army eventhough I didn't do anything (probably Liu Bei's other officer recruited him or Xu Shu voluntarily joined on his own).

Yeah. I managed to get it as a recruited officer by joining Liu bei after Zhuge Liang joined. Even managed to get all the events to Liu Bei moving to Zi Tong.

I see, i've never noticed the age when i was playing.

@King Crusnik try ps2 emulator. for pc i am not sure... pc ver is chinese n can't be installed unless u have some kind of chinese pc

It's really tough to stick to a particular "path" for very long on this game :( it gets kind of frustrating
