Pay-per-views no longer being a thing for WWE (being on a pay per show paid SIGNIFICANTLY more than a TV show according to Maven) is what has lead to wrestlers becoming less competitive in the WWE.

Triple H and someone else tracked down the watch Cody's dad had to pawn to get him into acting school for Cody, and gave it to him after the match. He made a handful of watches before WrestleMania, and gave Seth one and Roman one. I'd say another to Jey and the Rock to signify WrestleMania 40, I'm pretty sure Seth wore it too
