Rollerblader takes on the Olympic Oval: Speed Skating with Olympians!

Welcome to my exhilarating journey at the Utah Olympic Oval, where I had the incredible opportunity to step onto the ice and challenge myself in the world of speed skating. In this video, join me as I lace up my skates and glide alongside Olympians such as Joey Mantia, Austin Kleba, and Ethan Cepuran.
As a passionate rollerblader, the transition to speed skating was both exhilarating and demanding. Get ready to witness the dedication, discipline, and sheer determination required to excel in the sport of speed skating.
Join me as I glide across the ice, striving to match (and failing) the speed and finesse of these accomplished Olympians. Witness me enjoying slice after slice of humble pie.

That would be a fun turnaround, but I feel like streets are more dangerous for sudden traumas and when your career depends on being healthy and having top performance it might not be worth the risk. Skate park though...

those olympian cats are just way stronger and smoother - no wasted movements. ari throws his upper body around laterally more. the olympians stay pretty rigid. you can really see the difference during the hand-offs

Wicked video Ari, I chanced into your videos a few weeks ago and love you content, I think I've watched every video you have now at least twice lol. Your backwards inline skating is phenomenal and it's made me wanna be able to do that also. So I am in day 6 of practicing your backwards skating lol. Slow process but it's coming 👍 I'll keep ya updated

Love the new content format! Looks like these long flat blades require way more precision then say a 4x110 frame.

Think he would have more stamina than the pros. If you,see his videos the amount of strokes and movement he likes to do it's insane. Of the charts. Technique of course is not there but the cheer energy and mental presence is amazing.

Idk Jack, but i hear he's a cook guy. Anyway, watch the playback, their push is slow. Slow is steady, steady is smooth, smooth is fast. This was a great video. You probably learned allot

Honestly once you gave him speed skates he really started to do a lot better. They should really train this guy because he got really good after a couple of laps with crappy speed skaters too lol.

That's my stutter out to play. I typically get less fluent when I talk to the camera in a more "formal" setting or when I'm tired. Here both were the case.

He should have actually speed skates not hockey skates lol. No one can lend him speed skates lol. Speed skates vs hockey skates of course speed skates will win lol he is an Olympian lol.
