Rollerblader Nearly KILLED for using WAX, Abibas Braingod, Joe Atkinson on THEM SKATES, Blading CUP

Спорт

Professional Rollerblader Michel Prado and Gawds put out a documentary all about an incident that changed his life and nearly resulted in his death.
There has been loads of rollerblading videos and contents dropping we are spoilt for choice. Could some of the videos have swayed the inline skater of the year vote? Will it be Sean Kelso, Julien Cudot, Colin Kelso or Eugen Enin?

Exactly ! Also I think with the emphasis on more precise movements, it gives more appreciation for the hammers too. Like you don't see the same big spins to grind or disaster in every video so when it does happen it feels more exiting to me than when everyone was just throwing themselves constantly. There's so much variety, style and control in skating now that everything feels exciting to watch or try !

Perfect mix between all different styles is better than just focusing on one. Don’t everyone should just start going smaller and more technical, Just think people should find a style that suits them and stick to it that way it’s not just the same repetitive tricks 😃 evolution my dear Charles!!!!

Also, a fun fact about what you were saying about Sean’s frames: we made slim head UFS bolts so Sean could squeeze 58mm wheels into his frames. They were designed for max 57. I would argue it was people before him like Andy Kruse, Tom Hyser and even Nick Riggle - that’s when you got the first mention of mushroom blading. I’m saying the focus was heavy on stunts and traditional aggressive skating formed. There is way more focus now on rollerblading centre tricks. skateboarding actually peaked like this around 2010, we hit the point with people like jamie thomas, jaws, and sheckler, and of course chriss cole pretty much defined whats big enough. AFTER that around 2014 chris cole reminded everybody, that he is a bit of a tech god. after he destroyed any banger worth banging. he continued to do just about every conceivable ledge trick after he gave up gap skating. now, skateboarding has a rather defined meta. 8/12/18 stairs are like, the format. anything bigger than that is just some kook shit anymore

Many people including myself are thankful that you make these videos, but I can’t help but feel you have a passionate vendetta against Ilia Savosin. Like the guy might not have made some mistakes & maybe he didn’t completely match that other skater, but he does plenty of things I’ve never seen others do. Or look at the conditions that he can skate in like in his Aquamarine edit. I don’t think he’s trying to say he’s better than the skaters that he makes copy cat videos of, I think he’s just challenging himself similarly to how many skaters do, he just does it professionally & needs to get content out there. Maybe cut the poor guy some slack. Sorry for the wall of text, just can’t help but think I’m not the only one who feels this way.

You’ve taken this far too seriously. He posts the reels trying to match people as a cheeky, shots fired kind of thing to get attention. He tagged me so I gave a light hearted break down and said they are quite fun. Not sure how you’ve interpreted that as a “passionate vendetta”. I did a similar thing for the Chris Farmer ABD so I have a passion vendetta against Chris? I was one of the people most vocal about making Ilia pro, and also talked about how great his edits were so you’re barking up the wrong tree pal! 🫡
