It is and they aren't trying to make it anything else. That's kinda the point - dressing up an existing, relatively unrepresented skate.

@@almostremembered I Love what they have done with blading and I like their skating and have met them over a decade ago. I didn't like the original Them boot either so I have been wrong on what works on feet as well. I still skate cults

even if im in a downturn on blading rn i always catch your blading news man. love your content and still loving the laces i bought from oak city of yours. EDIT: no way theyre rereleasing anarchys under a new company name lmao. i swear ive seen that mold of skate being sold from my local (now shutdown) skating rink. they were the only aggressives i could find within hours of driving of me.

Is Razors that big in the U.S. and Australia ? Because in Europe I’d say they don’t play a significant role, so is their power that strong ?

Good coverage on the Razors drama. One thing you missed related to the growing community hate for Razors is the long history of their riders quitting over Andy's behavior or getting dropped because Andy was being fickle. Lots of stories on Jump Street and more on IG

Does that really excuse the fact that the calls were made? Even if it wasn't effective, how long before it is? We as a community should not accept this or blading will die completely.

There’s no money in skating. This isn’t the 90’s.

I love razors skates whatever happens behind the scenes you can't knock the product and ultimately I'm going to skate what feels best. This whole latest thing seems more og a misunderstanding anyway

But they put out skates , they put out skates when almost no one else did. They make wide and narrow skates. Razors might have some bad choices but they have always been there for the individual skater, so are they bad for the community??? I don’t know but they seem to have supported the blade scene for decades. I agree shitty moves sometimes but they are genuinely good for the scene.

i know razors has somewhat of a bad name especially lately, but aren't you doing the same. If someone doesn't watch to the end of the segment it's going to sour people to them even further. Just wanted to recommend that at the start, you state that it turns out the alligations are apparently false. I dont work in the industry musch less for razors, just an old skater that wants the scene to stay strong. news=good, burying the lead to the possible detriment to the industry= bad ......and hurts the whole scene.

Razors has an awful track record. They have not done anything to prove they are straying away from that track record. If “news=good” but “consequence=drama and drama bad”, how can we hold anyone responsible for their actions? Razors has been givin the benefit of the doubt for like 20 years. The fact that we’re still talking about their poor actions proves they dont care about blading, they care about taking your money. We should support companies that support the sport, not themselves.

@spookwackadoo need to reread my post. What I'm saying is, if you're going to say that claims were false, start with that. People have too short of an attention span and usually only pay attention to the headline. You kinda made my point by only half reading what I said before responding. Not backing razors at all. He'll I have two pair from when I got back into skating (and hadn't known about their shady shit) and I'll fully admit that they have some of the worst liners in the industry and leave shell edges sharp enough ti cut people. Their name is mud, but if you find out shit about someone isnt true and you do a story about it, you need to lead with the fact it turned out to be untrue

Judging from both the "new skates" that people are putting out now.🤢 . Might wanna give rzrs a pass 😂😂. Can't decide which is uglier

You Say Razors never put out quality content ? but this company was the first they weekly dropped razors news stuff and edit, and what I see we all bitching on razors because they treating there Employs wrong but at the same time we buy stuff all over the world where the same shit happens, if Razors would be soooo bad why some pros stayed there like forever ? maybe some riders they left are just some soft eggs. everyone who runs a company in skating want to make money nothing else. and pros are nothing else then employs these days. there happens way more worst shit in the industry made by skaters and no one say something because they are pussys.

What quality content have they dropped in the last 5+ years, or even 10+ years? Also, just because a pro or two has stuck around for a long time doesn't negate the revolving door of pros that Razors has had. And the difference between buying stuff from Nike vs buying stuff from Razors is that this is a tiny, tiny niche community. That makes a huge difference in how it's perceived and what the community can do about it.
